How do you even earn medals?

There are 6 possible gold medals you can get in a single round.

- 50 kills with (weapon) (whatever your current weapon is)
- 50 kills with abilities (ability kills also count toward weapon kills)
- 20 combos
- 15 killstreak
- Immortal (complete the round without falling)
- Operation Complete: Perilous

Well I just played on routine and as I mainly played alone ....I expect it was the combo.....what does the medal look like. I always got the one with the hand on it. Sorry I can't read what they are on the PS3 as the writing is terrible, small and fuzzy.

The one with the hand on it is ability kills.

So, EA servers just went down. Whole PS4 community got kicked offline, judging by the current message chain going on PSN.

 

Thankfully, I'd just finished the weekend challenge, but I did get kicked between solos where I had almost completed the greataxe challenge (finally). I also was about to go into SP, finish collecting schematics, and Touch The Nug, but now that won't be happening.

 

Boo.

did event end early?  I know it usually runs through Monday morning and I was tracking it -- only had one game to go and BAM, it was gone.

Always seems like it ends really early on Monday morning, though. Like, before 7/8am EST.

 

I was paranoid, so I finished it yesterday just because I was afraid I'd be in the mentality of finishing it today because of the holiday.

It was during a Canadian holiday.

 

Yesterday was an American holiday, though.

Yesterday was a holiday in Canada as well, Labour Day to be exact. So not sure why it wasn't a long one.

Which weekend are you referring to?  Yesterday was Labour Day in Ontario, and a quick google searching suggests Alberta didn't schedule differently.

Labour Day is a federal stat holiday so everyone in Canada has it off.  The only difference between Canada and the US is we spell it the right way!
