So pander accordingly
too late. they based an entire DLC on pandering (Citadel), what makes you think they won't revisit that decision?
So pander accordingly
Exactly.
Since only 1/3 of players have completed ME3 after playing ME2 (or beaten ME3 with multiple playthroughs), I don't see the need to have an import feature and end of game content. Pander to the masses!
Since Tali, Kaidan, and Ashley had less than 10% of time in the squad, I don't see the need to have any quarian female, human female, or human male biotic squad members. Pander to the masses!
Since more than half of the players allowed Garrus to win the shoot out, I don't see the need to include the option to play anything but a "paragon" best-bro personality type. Pander to the masses!
How about no pandering at all?
Yeah. No pandering....unless it pleases tumblr.../sarcasm.
Exactly.

strawman fail. I didn't say they should eliminate the chick protagonist just have more content for dudes.

Is this another romance thread in disguise? Or are you talking about story/combat content that only "dudes" can play? What specifically are you asking them to provide with this "pandering"?

What are you saying exactly?
Posting a screencap and saying "pander to this" means a whole lot of nothing, even with the context you attempt to present. You literally have no argument, just vague threats.

shhh...he doesn't know I know that yet...
I wonder how accurate those stats are, half the time I played I was not connected to the EA servers.
Much like with Dragon Age, your data would sync up and include your playdata the next time you did log in to the servers. It's the same way it works if you're always connected: the data updates periodically, rather than constantly, so it just sends the information at the next opportunity.
That having been said, like with any statistical data, people tend to draw conclusions based on what they think are obvious patterns without the necessary information to actually support those conclusions.
The most common example from that particular telemetric info dump is, "82% of Mass Effect 3 players are male," which is not a valid conclusion.

You haven't said anything, really.

Why not add Liara to the list? She doesn't have to be recruited till very late in ME1, and may not be seen at all in ME2. Or are you just referring to ME3?
Only 18% female Shep? While I personally hardly ever do a femshep playthrough, that seems kind of low. I wonder how that accounts for people with both, or does it count multiple characters per user?

Well because I was just using the 'statistics' on that image the same way that the OP was. Although I'm sure it could extend to Liara too, since she was only used 24% of the time too. Might as well lump her in as well......
My statement was meant to be tongue-in-cheek since it's a clearly a terrible argument based on misunderstanding of data. Just like the OP.
They should indeed broaden female representation to draw in a largely untapped demographic. 18% is still too low. You're missing dosh here Bioware.

It's hard to say. Bio's often inconsistent in how they report such data. The reporting is granular enough so they can tell that, for instance, I've played through all of the DA:O origins but have never finished a HN, DE, or DC run.
I'm one of those paranoid types who think companies skewer the data in othre to streghten their own positions and such...Not saying Bioware did this, it just a paranoid suspicion I get.
