I've joined 2 MP games since the update and it will show my party as if it were a single player game.  The player circles and HP bars in the top left of the screen, although the circles are blank it's just a silver boarder that may or may not show mana/stamina and an HP bar that may or may not show the correct HP amount.

 

I've also lost the ability to use the party commands (D-Pad if you use a controller)

 

is this a common bug or do I need to run the repair function?

It's a bug,involving SP UI,so it's a common thing atm.
