as I've read in many posts (and now experienced for myself), the Hakkon weapons when used don't count as weapon kills and thus won't reward a weapon kill medal
will this bug ever be fixed?!

Maybe they didnt want them to count...........
Doesn't really make sense. Why would they add the Hakkon weapons if they didn't want you to use them?
