I've now encountered 2 people with some variation on Promotion Lord in their name. One was on Perilous and now on Nightmare. The one on Perilous definitely had the promotions since it was a warrior with constant crit and then an Arcane Warrior on Nightmare who wasn't phased by 2 players being down (me being one of them). I thought it was just a joke name for people who have promoted a lot.

 

Are you able to change your name on PC or are these people on new accounts taking advantage of the free multiplayer? How much DAIMP are these people playing?

 

I know I'm leeching, but in all honestly I just wanted to watch.

you can change your Origin-Name anytime you want... so these Lords are not new but mostly seasoned players who want to make a statement joke
