I'm very glad the last patch did not remove from the game the main feature that keep me away from it, the crash to desktop, great feature, 10/10 would have it in every future updates.

In my experience so far, on the PS4, the game has been running a lot more stable. Not sure if i'm just lucky or if they made some progress, but i had just 1 black loading screen of death and no other weird things happen over 2 days. Before the patch the yes/no ratio for game working was about 50/50 whenever i joined a new lobby.

I agree on XB1 it seams alot more stable, i still get the problems but not as nearly as it was before

While I'll save my final verdict after the weekend is over, I haven't crashed yet on my PC over the last 2 days (knocks on wood). And that is... surprising.

They also didn't remove my favorite feature: Emo Forum Rage.

Forum rage, of course rage is not justified when this piece of **** game come out plagued with bugs and almost a year later the game still randomly crashes it was never acknowledged by the dev and publisher, I should be very happy I got a game that I won't play because quite often I lose progress because of some shitty ass coding or whatever, go on EA/BioWare drone, tell me it's all good, just doing my challenge I got three crashes, it was a great time.

Btw, since it seems to only be you having this major an issue, and not really anyone else, maybe it's your computer?

I can guarantee you it's not only me, it's been a problem since release, google it and you will see, there is a post on the EA answers thing with almost 300 posts, so yeah, I must be all alone.

That thread is olde.

Lots of PC posters here on the boards all the time. They don't seem to have this problem at all. Or at least no one is posting about it.

Maybe they just got used to it, there are fairly recent post in that thread, at this point the game lost a lot of its following anyway, I gave up hoping for this issue to be fixed and I just hope ME:A won't be like that.

Your reply does not make much sense to me but most devs are developing on console now and the issue seems to be some kind of memory leak or something like that from what some posts have been saying in different places, anyway, it just sucks that they can't make a game that doesn't have such game breaking bugs like that, I mean, not even knowing how long you have to play, sometimes I'll reload the game after crashing and I crash again like 10 seconds after the loading, it's just ridiculous, some other times I can play 1-2 hours just fine, it's very random and the fact that there is really no error given doesn't help fixing it, anyway, poor game coding, nothing else to say.

I switched to windowed fullscreen and it has stopped the CTD with no error window.

There are also a few graphical settings that will improve stability if lowered or disabled. Recently I bumped those settings up again and crashed 3 times in an hour.

It all depends on your hardware and software, after all it's not like Arkham Knight which crashed for everyone.

Many studios don't make pc games, as with consoles you know exactly what you have to work with

You were saying you hoped the bugs didn't make it to andromeda.

I said just buy it on ps4 or xbone.

Bioware games are console games that get ported to PC.

If you're worried about the stability, play them on the platform they are best on, current gen consoles.

Edit: seems like more PC players are saying it is your computer.

Well, Mass Effect for one is best played on PC anyway(I hate playing shooters with controllers.) and it's not my computer it's really the game, some options make it more stable, it's a memory problem, terrible coding, my pc can run 24 hours on prime95 with no error found which means it's stable, the game just fucks up at some point, the more demanding your settings are the faster the game seem to crash and if it was a memory problem with my computer instead of the game itself, it would blue screen as an unstable computer with memory problem does.

Edit: just to be clear, I made plenty of research about those damn crashes, there is a huge variety of different hardware that get the problem, same for software, if it was as easy as some outdated drivers or something but it's not.

For FPS, I would agree with you.

For a third person, I think controllers are better.

Why is PC limited to 8 abilities in SP and 4 for MP?

I used to use 25+ for MMOs.

It's because Bioware designs games, if not primarily for consoles, then at least with everything being available for consoles and pairs down PC to match.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be a console game at its heart. No reason, in my opinion of course, to even bother playing it on PC.

Spoiler

I still prefer mouse and keyboard for aiming and using skills, I just like the control layout, I played ME1-3 that way, I'm just a PC gamer at heart! :)

disable ipv6 in your pc's network adaptor, disabled it on your router and make sure your pc has a dedicated Ethernet wired connection.

most if not all of the ctd issues are based around misbehaving networking equipment causing problems and more than half of that is down to ipv6 flag state changes causing micro stutters in the device connections. since I disabled it my system no longer has the constant crash to desktop problem and it just uses the 6>4 tunnel instead of starting off using native ipv6 at the pc to the router where the virtual server creates the ipv4 tunnel and packages everything ......

biggest cause of problems with networking is mixing icrap/spamdroid/windows in the same router since they all implement things differently and all want to change things to their preferred version ......

What about the infinite black loading screen when joining the game? Still happens and I have to alt-f4 every time, annoying as hell.

Come on buddy, let's not ask too much, obviously the game is perfectly fine.
