I'd like to see FMVs dropped entirely in favour of in-game engine scenes.  Overall visual style, filters, framerate, etc. can be quite jarring and take one out of the moment when an FMV takes over, usually with little visual benefit (in some ME2 FMV cut scenes there's still z-fighting).  Also, the uniquely created protagonist cannot appear in pre-rendered scenes, which again was quite jarring in some key moments of ME3.

That said, I'd hope the quality of in-game engine cut scenes is greatly improved to some of the work in ME3 (Aria skateboard dance anyone?).

So long as the Cutscenes are Cinematic and Epic!  (like the ones in the Shepard Trilogy!)  The ONLY problem i had was the sudden drop off at the Citadel beam run.  Other then that.  The Shepard Trilogy was perfect.

I hope the Andromeda Games are as well thought out and executed as the Shepard Trilogy.  DA:I wasn't that well executed.

I did also forget to mention... the pistol/rifle debarcle of the ME series.  I'm not even carrying an Avenger!

I very seriously doubt this is going away anytime soon. I would suggest you get used to it.

I also made a thread about this. Cutscenes should be removed and things should play out in gameplay or cutscenes should rendered in engine like Uncharted and GTA.
