I'm playing a Qunari Reaver right now, so I want the Vitaar of the Dragon Hunter for the extra damage bonuses. To do that I need to start "The Nox Morta" sidequest after completing "Beasts at Bay", but I can't find Havard-Pierre d'Amortisan where he should be located.
Jaws of Hakkon "Beasts at Bay" sidequest help. Havard-Pierre d'Amortisan isn't there.

Head due north of the main camp. But Southwest of the Astrarium. Helm/Vitaar can only be equipped at Level 21- sadly. Also- sometimes I've noticed he's not there right away. If I establish another camp (anywhere in the Frostback Basin)- then he shows up. Could be a bug.

Thanks. I knew where he was, he just wasn't showing up for me.
And I'm at level 19, more than halfway to 20. I can get that Vitaar equipped in no time.

He is not there from the start. He only shows up after you've done some of the other quests in JoH.
