So far there has been no response from Bioware associated with this problem.  I would like SOME response from Bioware rather than the typical silence.

The Bioware Project pages can not have updates to the 'project', 'discussion', or 'comments' section.  If Bioware/EA intends to leave the Projects as the status quo, so be it.  But  have the minimal communication skill to TELL us that you are actively phasing out the Projects rather than passively phasing them out.  Some of us would like to make sure that we have downloaded versions of the mods that we like and I'm betting the NWN group would like to find another home for their mods.

I would recommend that if you are starting a new project you don't use the BSN as your project home. The main reason being that the site is read only for almost everything except the project section and there is no plan to start actively developing on it again. Wouldn't something like Nexus Mods be a better place to host your project?

I'll try to look into the bug, it might be related to some database changes we had to make. Although looking at the recent comments it looks like most of them are from spammers. :(

I was trying to update EXISTING projects so that there would be a transition from BSN to Nexus.  However I couldn't even update the main project page to say "This project will not be updated on BSN, please go to Nexus for the most recent version"  I couldn't create a status message under 'discussions' providing status and contact information.  Give me some advance notice and two days - I promise to have everything updated and you can shut down the project updates, discussions, and comments again.

I had no intention of starting a new project on BSN.  BSN has made their position perfectly clear.

Well it has been broken for about 2 months from the look of things. For any permanent change we would try to give notice, this is just a bug that we'll need to fix, not us turning anything off.

Okay, the issue should be fixed. If you run into any problems let me know.
