How does it hold up on multiple playthroughs anyways?
How many times have others played through the game?

Completed two full playthroughs, and currently doing my third. However, I probably have created and started more than 30 characters. Most don't make it past the Hinterlands though for various reasons.

10
female human mage/blackwall
female lavellen/solas
female qunari/iron bull
male trevelyan/cassandra x2 (still working on run #2)
female human mage/cullen x 3 (started run #3 today)
male trevelyan/dorian
female lavellen/krem (it's a head canon, okay? sigh. wish it was for reals)
and that's not counting all the CC abominations I had to burn.
longest run is my finished mage/cullen sitting in at 150 hours of nightmare gameplay. seriously, this game is huge.

I have 7 saves now, finished 5 of them and i will bring 3 into Trespasser and the future.
Dwarf male Warrior Champion
Human female Rogue Artificer
Elf female Mage Knight Enchanter.
Spent around 500 hours on the game, mostly Nightmare playthroughs, and most of them completionist.

I am shocked that the above posters were able to make so many characters. I am on my second character, a human warrior whereas my first was a human mage (I know I am boring shut up), and I find the game a bit of a tiring slog at times. I just want to finish it up so I can prep everyone up for when I eventually buy the DLCs. Mind you the process should be much more enjoyable now that the Gold Nug has been introduced.
I am still kinda pissed that I failed to save the Marquise of Serault the second time I did that War Table operation where he was lost in the woods but otherwise I am trying to make this my perfect go-through game.
So just put me down at 1 & 1/2.

I have one as-complete-as-I-could-make-it save, and one more that's getting there. These are the two I hope to play Trespasser with as soon as possible. I have three more that haven't made it past Haven, but the mere thought of having to do everything again... makes me wonder why I like this. I love the companions to pieces, but I don't want to slog through their multi-zone approval quests. If there were a way to play the main story missions, the main missions in the zones I care about, and the companions' character development quests, I would love it. The first time around I had so much power I never used, and now obtaining it is a chore.

I've got two characters I've played to end game and Hakkon DLC - qunari female warrior and an elf male mage - halfway through a third with a female human mage - but I also have several others I haven't gotten very far who may or may not see an end game. Currently running my main OC through the Descent - then my male elf will get a go then we can start on Trespasser.

I have only one full playthrough (female human mage). I got up to mid game with a female elf rogue, but because I'd spent so much time and totally self inserted with my trevelyan I never really got into the second playthrough: I kept being like GO AWAY YOU'RE NOT THE REAL HERALD IMPOSTER
I have clocked up a good 120 hours with my mage, mind. Killed all the dragons, collected all the shards/mosaics/a zillion trillion elfroots

I've done 3 so far 1 human female mage Gina which was my first. 1 Female elven mage Topaz which was my second neither of these have done the DLC's though as these were created when I first got into the game and Sobek my female elven DW rogue which I did the JoH DLC with. I'm pretty much done with these playthrough's withthe exception of just taking down a raider or 2 in practice As I've done the main story and defeated Cory with all 3. I haven't played Descent yet but I do have it I am just waiting for Trespasser before starting my 4th. I have in mind who I want to create I'm going with a human male mage this time as I've yet to do a male chjaracter I'm just finishing DA2 and then waiting for Trespasser as I'm thinking I want to do all 3 DLC's in this one.

I lost a few of my first characters, don't know if I decided one day to randomly delete them, or lost them on a reinstall of the game so I can't recall everything but what I do remember.
Dwarf Warrior - finished the game
Elf Mage - somewhere near the end of the game, but alas gone now, now I was hoping still around so I can conclude her romance with Solas but I guess youtube will be my friend there since I'll unlikely never make another female elf, and if I did, I'd romance Sera
Human Warrior - again somewhere near the end of the game, probably last quest so if I want to do a second quick run of Trespass, I can smash Corys face in quick
Dwarf Rogue - on last quest, currently working through JoH DLC, hoping to get to level 21 and then I'll finish Corypheus with her, will be the first character into Trespass the second I get off work tomorrow. Just need to hope the DLC goes on sale before 11 EST so i can download it before I go to school, so I don't have to download it when I get home at midnight and I can just get right in.

I have two characters who have done every area of the game and both DLCs. Both hit the level cap long ago, and I'll be running those two through Trespasser as of tomorrow. I also have a couple who have made it to Skyhold but not advanced much further. I do intend to complete the game with them, too. Between them I have used all four Inquisitor voices, played as all four races and all three classes, and resolved the Mage/Templar conflict all four ways. I may well make further Inquisitors to explore other romance options...

Five at the moment, although I am thinking for another mage (necro) playthrough and maybe a 2h champion run in future, dunno.
I currently have a Qunari Rift Mage, who is kind of sidelined since it was my first playthrough and my gear, potion upgrades, and everything else is just suboptimal and I sort of stopped playing her. However I can get back to her now that Golden Nug is here. My dwarven reaver is my second playthrough, and although much better than first, still has its own problems. I will play Descent and JoH with him first sometime, dunno when.
My other characters are my Elven Rogue Archer, Human SnS Templar and (my favourite) Human DW Rogue. All three are min-maxed for the best possible stats/Gear and all three are done with main quest and DLCs. I especially love my DW Rogue. I don't know other players' playtime for their characters, but for me, my first couple characters finished the main quest and some of the inner circle quests in around 55-60 hours. The number for me went down with each playthrough, and with my DW Rogue which was the latest, I finished the entire game, class quests and the two DLCs in 60 hours. This is my favourite thing about RPG games, that each playthrough becoming more and more optimized as you learn the game and start min maxing for most efficient play.

I am shocked that ...
There is your problem - increase your magic resistance to reduce the chance to become shocked.

When I got my One, I had to recreate my favorite (and now canon) Inquisitor, the male elf archer. We have now spent about 160 hours together and when starting my Solas romance version for Trespasser dlc, I am really not feeling the same way about her as for Ryla'theras Lavellan.
I liked my elf so much, I recreated the exact same character as a 2-handed warrior and a mage. ☺️
