I loved DA:I in general, just hated MMO styled sidequests which were majority and DIDNT BRING anything into the story and way too much things to do. Game is to be played and enjoyed, not grinded into 130h to finish :P

My playthrough for...well never gotten that high even with all the DLC...so yes you are right. :P

216 hours, I collected everything except thrones (too many upgrades for them that require farming table missions, boring and time consuming). Maps are explored too, of course. Took many months, since I don't play a lot.

It was difficult at some point. When I arrived to that huge night desert, I lost patience and abandoned the game for a half a year. But then returned and finished it with all dlcs.

For me it was too easy to reach lvl 20 for the inquisition and 27 for characters. I did it in the beginning of the first dlc, making further fights and quests quite useless. I never understood why they make level caps in such games. It's a single player game, and there are plenty of skills to learn.

Still it was a great story.

Relieved , yet pessimistic about the future.

Trespasser changes everything. Really.

To be honest, I was not satisfied by DAI base game. I rushed it in the first playthrough, completing it within 45 hours superfast because I was disappointed by the game, well, not in an angry way, but a sad way. The flaws are undeniable, and I found myself hard to defend for it when I saw complaints and accusation about the game on internet because I know many of these complaints are true facts. I love the dragon age series, and I don't know how to react and feel about DAI.

But trespasser give me hope. I'm surprised, intrigued, and now I regret I should've given more patience during the first playthrough.

Enjoyed the game and the DLCs. Have done multiple play-throughs. Sad that there is nothing new to add to the game at this point and looking forward  to the next installment.

Will move onto the Witcher DLCs, the Nathan Drake series, Uncharted 4, and Mass Effect 4.....

DAI is the first Bioware game in a long time that I didn't do a second playthrough right away. Over the years I've done 8+ DAO, 4 DA2, 6ish ME, 4 ME2, and 2 ME3 playthroughs. I just started my second DAI run last weekend. The addition of the DLCs and especially Trespasser make it easier to run through, I'm probably going to end up skipping most of the zones and just doing the minimum to level up enough to complete the story.

Hopefully DA4 will end up being a bit more repeatable for me.

I was the same. I played Origins the first six times (out of 17) back to back. When I finished Inquisition, I just kind of breathed a sigh of relief, and then didn't boot it up again until Trespasser. I'll probably do one more playthrough of DAI at some point, but that will be it. It's just has too much boring stuff you have to slog through to get to the interesting story bits to make multiple playthroughs an appealing prospect.

I should probably preface this with 'i'm a massive bio fan been with them since the beginning and love their work in general, how I feel is that this is freaking fracking nutso.

After a year, content is released that actually wraps up the story, it's bugged all to crap, and not little bugs too, actual consistent crashes on multiple platforms and this is celebrated...

The hell did we get to this? this incredibly bizarre place for the games industry where this is the norm. hooray it's done? it should have been done, at the most,10 moths ago.

I'm actually pretty exited to see what comes next. Sure I wasn't a fan of some things this game did, skills restrictions, and simplistic fetch type quests etc, but I liked the overall story and where it seems to be headed.

And I'm really looking forward to see what they can do now that they don't have to build an engine from scratch and are no longer gonna be chained to last gen hardware.

I beat Dragon Age Inquistion 9 Times and clocked in 1,710 hours so I am glad it's done and now I'm looking forward to The Witcher 3's Expansions which will hold me over until Fallout 4 is released which is going to be an awesome game.

And in regards to B-Ware's games I am cautiously optimistic about Mass Effect Andromeda but after being completely dissapointed with Mass Effect 3 I am going to be paying extra attention before buying though.

It coulda been better and the lack of "spoils of the Elvhen" pack was disappoiting but overall I'm excited for what comes next.

In fact, I kind of wish they would skip the ME game because playing yet another boring human space ranger doesn't interest me in the slightest, and do more DA instead, but that's not happening. :)

The most controversial and mixed feelings (and I've got non-EC ME3 to compare with, lol).

There were things I hated, as much as there were things I loved. It's not a flawless gem, but it's... the most Dragon Age game in the series. It's not the best gameplay-wise, but it absolutely has the most of the World itself (living, varied, dangerous, ancient, wonderful) - probably too much for the game. Now they just need to find that magic middle-ground for both sides, and make it happen.

Trespasser...I've expected it since beating the game for the first time, just like that, it perfectly fits the overall story (especially the pro-templar arc). Bitter-sweet enough, satisfying even with all its surprises.

I'm hoping there's at least one more patch to fix some things in the main game and Trespasser.

Other than that, I'm pretty sad. The end of DAI didn't leave me feeling emotional, but the end of Trespasser did. I'm actually really sad at the prospect of leaving behind my Inquisitor and friends. I'm excited for the next game, but since that's so far away, I guess I have dozens of playthroughs to enjoy in the meantime. I made about a million Inquisitors because I love playing in the character creator - might as well use them!  ^_^

My only question is... What the hell happened to Bodahn and Sandal?

Dragon Age 4 better focus on the Dwarves to make up for this.

It's a new character lol I'ts unreasonable enough that the inquisitor meet a lot of the old characters, If he/she in some way had meet all of the past games cast, it would be pretty cheap. But there is a Sandal easter egg in trespasser, search carefully and you will find it xD

Spoiler

Now let's move on about how I feel.. well, I'm ecstatic. It's been a good ride, and I will miss the characters (mostly Dorian, Varick, Sera and Cullen). It's amazing how Bioware makes me connect with their characters, I aways come back to ME trilogy and DA2, and I'm surely come back to DA:I two after a while (skipping all the tedious side quests of course). After all, I still have two DLCs to play (Hakkon and Descent) but I won't be doing it for a while.

I just hope that, in the next game, they understand the concept of "less is more" and apply it to side quests and exploration. They did this flawlessly in DA:O, I don't know why they went overboard in this game. This is an awful trend games are starting to follow after Skyrim (Sorry Skyrim fans, but for me, that game is completely BORING). "Let's make ridiculously big open worlds for people pointlessly run around for hours making boring fetch quests, they will love it!!"  Seriously? ¬¬

About the story... Corypheus wasn't a good villain bioware... Sorry for whoever wrote him, but asside from the part that he revealed himself (In DA:I), he didn't felt threatening. He felt like a power rangers villain, there was simply no depth to him, just a mad cliché evil plot, and I never felt any sense of danger in this game.

Spoiler

And is it too much to ask to continue playing with the Inquisitor? Sure, my justifications here would seem pale, because the previous protagonists all had direct involvements with loose ends explored in the sequels, but in the end of trespasser,

Spoiler

That's it about my considerations. I'm sad it ended so quickly, I hoped for a warden-dlc before the one that warped up the story, but if was a good ride, despite a few bumps along the way. Just build up upon the feedback from the fans and we could have a memorable and awesome DA:4

They said at some point that they had five originally planned, but that did not mean there could not be more if the franchise remains popular.

Well they're no longer working on DAI content which is good as it means they're now switching their attention to DA4 and I'm excited to know about what happens next, an awakening style expansion would of been nice but ah well.
