Mine would have to be the Elemental Mines in the Artificer tree. It's got a good cone AoE, does lots of damage (with each element, obviously) and it looks badass. Pretty lights

Hard to pick one, varies by context, but if I had to pick one, Tempest Archer Flask of Lightning followed by auto-attacks observed after switching to another character. If the bow has a rune on it, it looks just like a machine gun with tracer bullets!

But I'll have to say Hidden Blades.
Put some fool to sleep, hit said fool with Hidden Blades and then slip away quietly.

Wrath of Heaven. I like being able to draw all my enemies and then stun them with it, and then use Spell Purge for massive spirit damage. And the fact that demons are damaged by the casting itself, as well as the combo, makes it even better. Templar is definitely my favorite specialization because you just absolutely slaughter demons, and you face a LOT of demons in this game. But it's also very useful against all other enemies. I have 3 chars with that spec, and 2 of them are done with the plot and have closed every rift within reach of the Inquisition. It's kind of sad at that point, no more demons to rek...
Speaking of WoH, I find it curious that demon-slaying runes do damage to demon-corpses, like the ones that infest the Exalted Plains, but WoH does no damage to them. And it does absolutely nothing to Revenants and Arcane Horrors, which are demon-possessed corpses, and yet does damage (but doesn't stun) darkspawn ogres. Which aren't demons (or ARE they?!?!) That ability really seems to have some dumb inconsistencies.

That's because canon lore (undead are spirits possessing corpses) and game mechanics (undead and demons are two different things) are having a bit of an argument over who's right, so whatever you get is whoever happens to be shouting the loudest at the time.Speaking of WoH, I find it curious that demon-slaying runes do damage to demon-corpses, like the ones that infest the Exalted Plains, but WoH does no damage to them. Even weirder is the whole revival thing in the mix.
...Actually does revival work on ghouls? I never actually tried.

My favorite is Pull of the Abyss, mostly because it looks rather awesome graphically but I do like how it can tactically drag enemies into position for a Fire Mine or Warrior melee.

I'm with Dabrikshaw. Pull of the Abyss makes such a fantastic noise too, like ripping a hole into the vacuum of space.

How could I forget that great sound effect it has? It's ethereal and everything.

Elemental mines, love them. I think I abuse them a lot, even when I face a single enemy, even when any other rogue ability can make better dps, even when I'm alone with no enemies,... ![]()

It is hi-LA-riously funny to cast a static cage over enemies, followed by horror.
