With Balance, Stillness (While in the flow stance, immunity to immobilizing effects) doesn't work on 90% of immobilizing effects

It only grants you immunity against Slowed (and probably Panicked), which means you're still vulnerable to all types of knockdown, etc. Useless!

That's kind of its description.  I dont think knockdown is intended to count as a snare or immobilizing effect.

So, I think its actually working as intended.

Its just so happens to be nearly pointless.

It's pretty damn situational, yeah. I imagine it works against freeze, slow, and panic, but that's about it.

So what are the pros are thinking .... Is it better to take another passive instead?

As far as I can tell, snares and immobilizing effects are chilled, slowed, panic, stunned, and maybe staggered. Upgraded Asaara's Leap should purge most of these.

Don't take my word on this. I have never used that passive. I don't stay in the Flow stance long enough to get any use out of it.

Go with damage reduction or take Asaara's Leap's upgrade. The passive only works in the flow-stance and doesn't grant you immunity to knockdown, which arguably is the worst immobilizing effect because so many enemies can inflict it. This passive won't save you from death when a terror does its teleport attack with a rage demon alongside slashing you while you're on the ground, but Asaara's Leap will.

Survivability is the only reason why I take Asaara's Leap in my build. Mobility is a requirement for her when soloing/pugging unless you have a reliable group who can take care of aggroing for you.

And the title of this thread is inaccurate btw.

Right, the leap is too nice not to use it (+upgrade). and the Damage Reduction while casting is a must have cause you are casting all the time :D

Thanks for the tip :)

The leap is nice. The opener and the finisher (not flow) can both be casted at all times even if you're on the ground. Allows you to stop DoT as well. The finisher is just awesome to leap out of bad positioning (I like to combo it with Gaatlok's flow-stance paralyze/AoE discharge, which incapacitates the enemy and knockdowns for ~6 seconds to leap onto him).

(If you find yourself surrounded by archers shooting from the back, Ataashi's Breath's flow-stance Paralyze won't always last long enough to allow you to leap out, but Gaatlok will)
