Query: How much would an apple be like an orange if planted by the same farmer?

Statement: The Masters who make Dragon Age and the Masters who make Mass Effect are different people with different projects. Their goals may share characteristics, but an assumption that the next Galaxy-Saving simulation will be at all like the latest Dragon-Genocide simulation is premature given what we know.

Opinion: However, if ME:A were to be more like DA:I, the most effective product launch in the history of the Masters, I fail to see how this would be a bad thing.

Hundreds of planets to explore, such as Planet Hinterlands, Planet Hissing Wastes, and Planet Storm Coast! Experience the joy of driving the Mako fifty times around the same hill as you try to figure out how the hell to get up there while being attacked every five seconds by constantly respawning giant alien rats. Hidden somewhere on each planet are 12 to 24 statues of Elvis that you must find in order to get access to a secret vault that will contain nothing of interest. In order to locate them, you must first find and climb up to the Ancient Peepholes and look through them, while your companions make amusing quips about how silly this all is and how you're wasting precious time. Also, be sure to stop and get out of the Mako to pick up all of the fascinating herbs and minerals unique to each planet. You will need tons of them, and each and every one must be picked up by you, by hand. Keep an eye out for unremarkable events that don't concern you -- they are probably quests! If you are unsure whether something is a quest or not, don't worry, your Quest Log will direct you toward their completion and tell you when you're done, as it is not always clear.

to be honest, i dont mind 100s of planets. as i stated before, i'm more worried about the content. that's why i'm suggesting more ''story-driven'' side quests, just like how the witcher 3 did them. they dont have to do with the main story plot, they just introduce unique characters with unique stories in the mass effect world. i would like that really.,, mass effect as a world, has too much. i would love to learn more via side quests and not read (not that i mind it really) the codex all the time. its an opportunity to do many things that mass effect did not do in the trilogy :)

You realise Patrick Weekes who worked on Mass effect now lead writer of Dragon age. And DLC descent was made separate team then main game. And ME: Andromeda learned from DA:I  how to use Frostbait. So very similar not the same think but still. Same company share people/resources.
