I went to go see the merchant about the Stone Prisoner and he gave me the control rod and said that he'd mark the location on the map. However, the location he said that he'd mark wasn't there and the quest disappeared from my quest list. I did get the control rod at the time, but now when I look at quest items it's gone. Am I supposed to come across the town later on in the main story, or is the merchant actually supposed to give me a location to go to? I'm starting to think it's bugged right now.

Well the emplacement is at the lower left of the map, if that can help you figure this out.

It's still not showing at all. The furthest southwest (lower left) is Redcliffe.

Hrrmm. Once you receive the control rod from Felix, the town of Honnleath should appear as a gold icon containing a black golem silhouette in the southwest portion of your map.
If you're on PC, it could be that you went into your Downloadable Content screen (from the Main Menu) and accidentally disabled the Stone Prisoner content so that's the first place I'd check (on consoles, you can't disable content but it's possible that you deleted the downloaded file - don't worry, the entitlement is saved to your EA account so you can always redownload it).
Also, if the Sulcher's Pass area is still present and Felix is still there, you can try talking to him again.
If none of those solutions work for you, I recommend contacting tech support.
Hope that helps!

I'm on PC. After I left Sulcher's Pass for the first time, it just disappeared and the new map marker never appeared either. I don't think I disabled anything because everything has been activated since I started the game and I never went back to the DLC screen to change anything.

I'm having the same issue. Right after finishing Warden's Keep I zipped on down to Felix, talked to him and got the golem control rod. Unfortunately even though he said he marked Honnleath on my map, it's not there. None of the DLCs have been disabled since I began the game.
I did try some of the tricks mentioned in earlier posts about this issue but none of them seemed to do anything. Am I going to have to wait for a patch to get Shale, or does anyone have a definite method for getting Honnleath to appear on my map? Thanks!

Actually, I may have found something that worked. I went to the folder (user)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/AddIns and cut and pasted the "da_prc_cp_2" folder from the folder to the desktop. This is the folder for the Stone Prisoner DLC. Then I went back to the game and re-downloaded it and installed it. Sure enough, when I went back into the game Honnleath was now marked on my map.
I don't have any remaining premium content quests to be completed listed in my journal, but it does say I have Sulcher's Pass completed. I will go to Honnleath and try and finish the quest later because I've got to go to class soon.
After I exited the game, I went back to the folder with the newly downloaded DLC to compare the new one and the old one that I pasted to the desktop. Apparently the old folder (the one that I pasted to the desktop) was missing the "module" folder and a .dds file which the new one had. Maybe it was just a bad download the first time around.

At this point, this is a bug rather than a spoiler. I recommend posting over on the Tech Support forum to find a more technical solution. You shouldn't have to wait for a patch.
Good luck and sorry you're having trouble!

Gr1MReapeRAK's method worked for me, everything is now working normally. I guess I had a corrupted download or some such. Thanks Gr1M

I tried Gr1MReapeRAK's method but I couldn't install it after putting the folder to the desktop, it assumed I needed to buy the thing again, I tried entering the code but it didn't work either.
What did work was I re-pasted that da_prc_cp_2 folder back into the AddIns folder. I restarted the game again and sure enough, the location appeared on my map. Hope this helps anyone else facing this problem.

Thanks for telling me that the guy is in Sulcher's Pass. When I downloaded the Feastday DLC, both Bann Loren's Lands and Sulcher's Pass appeared, so I was kinda concerned about Honnleath or any other new area not appearing when I DL'ed The Stone Prisoner. I couldn't talk to the guys at either location because it says "Download Content" in dialogue lol. And I don't even have the Soldier's Peak nor the other DLC.
I only got the Feastday bundle and The Stone Prisoner, but I guess the download wasn't finished the first time I went to Sulcher's Pass, so I'll try to go there now.
Thanks again.

Don't call attention to it and it will sink back into oblivion. A least that means that some people are using the search function, which is a good thing.
