I'm not a fan of changing Unbowed to Livid. On the Lego it's not so bad but that was my one source of gaining Guard for my sweet, sweet Templar babby. Even if I swapped my Superb Stamina Amulet for the cool down amulet the difference would be less than 5 seconds which is big but keeps me from WomboCombo-ing, which entertains me to no end, as much. In short, Biovar give me my Unbowed back or I'm gonna stomp my feet through the house and refuse to eat my vegetables. Also, I want a Drufallo rogue character.

Between livid and WF not reducing cooldown anymore, the lego has become a lot less appealing for NM and HB.

Don't worry, Unbowed is still a 10% proc on the Hakkon 1h.  It's handy supplement along with WF, which seems to proc quite a lot.

As much as I hated the changed from unbowed to livid, the part that really got my blood boiling was they changed the skill tree and don't give us a free respec for lego and/or templar. If you're going to change how the class works then at least give us the ability to change our build one. A single claim respec for those 2 that cost nothing or 1/1/1. I haven't put in the same hours as some of you so I don't have the cloth to spare on respecs. I still have armors to get.

 

I used Unbowed on both of them and if I could I'd change that Livid to Combat Roll. Possibly War Cry for Legionnaire

Thought this too myself actually & wonder, why not give us a choice to upgrade Unbowed? Either upgrade it to livid or Unbowed+, but once 1 upgrade is chosen the other is locked out, as not to have both.

Yep. Unbowed was a must for her. Recover from being knocked down, a stagger and a gain if Guard. Biovar plox

Having said all that, I'm a fan of everything else in the newest patch. Except spending 100000 gold with not 1 new weapon. <_<

I don't mind about changing unbowed to livid. I'm annoyed at the WF nerf. No CD reduction = no more CS + WF back to back

 

Survival has never been an issue with lego. It's a matter of how often you can taunt stuff towards you and support your team mates.

this may be true but I have 50 nm dragon runs and 1 hakken      what the FU%^ happened to the hakken drops? and yeah the livid cool down is way too long for the Templar to be as usefull

Im not trying to anger anyone and sharing builds is nice but cookie cutter the builds does not mean I see the weaknesses same as you

I actually have a Templar as a Lego build I find very usefull as well and this nerfed that too

if there was a 2nd "useful" taunt it would not be so bad

I would just like an explanation for WF nerf. Luke talks about everything else except for this one thing... not mentioned in the patch notes, not mentioned anywhere. It's baffling. Can we at least increase the duration of WF back to 8 seconds???

1: Luke doesn't talk about 9/10th of changes

 

2: Nerfes don't need to be explained unless a class ends up broken (not the case here)

 

3: I hear there was an unholy combination with Bolters and cooldown reduction so there's a good reason to take that away

I completely disagree.  Bolters are one possible enemy on one wave of one possible faction.  So what if the Lego was strong in that one rare circumstance?  Isabela is especially weak against bolters, so does that mean Bioware should buff her entire elusive mechanic to compensate?  Of course not, nor should the Lego have been nerfed for such a limited reason.

I strongly disagree. There should be a rationalization behind balance changes (both buffs and nerfs) unless it is way too obvious to everyone (for example, SS nerfs since there is already a whole thread dedicated to it). They had their reasons for the changes and it will take less than a cup of coffee's time to brief them. If your third point is true then it will take even less time to confirm it. Btw bolters rarely occur on wave 4 now.

I always enjoyed Lego. Taking the damge for your teammates. Being nearly invincible, unless you pick stupid abilities and mess with cooldowns.

On the other hand he never did great damage (even with Livid it´s nothing [nothing +50%= still nothing ]) so fair trade.

Now you hope your CDs will be ready only to make sure not to die.

 

Even high promoted played have to compensate, I guess. But the ones who got really hurt are the players with low or mid range promotes.
