Spin to win - what's the theoretical best Whirlwind build?

So as some of you may or may not know, during my endless experimenting with high end solo warrior tactics, I discovered yesterday that damage over time and Whirlwind's Rising Winds interact together in a funny way, as whirlwind boosts the damage of each damage tick, and refreshes the dot duration, until you reach arbitrarily high damage per second, provided of course that you have enough stamina to back it up.

Here's a quick video of the interaction that I put together earlier, using Earthshaking Strike's burning, and 175 stamina whirlwind with rising winds.

I was thinking of other builds and uses, but I'm limited by my "solo no specialization" mindset. The main problem I have is, I tend to be interrupted a lot by various knockback effects, and I tend to take too much damage if I don't put on a 10% armor masterwork, and these problems would naturally go away in a party.

So I submit to the community to figure out even better ways to turn our Inquisitors into Spinning Tops of Death. I tried it with the Poison masterwork, and it indeed works. It also worked with bees, boosting each dot tick into the 1000s before I ran out of Stamina.  I didn't try Antivan Fire but I don't doubt it works just as well.

Keep in mind that those figures are probably way lower than what one could theoretically reach with proper gear, specialization and team building.

So, who wants to try and apply their own spin on this, before Bioware patches it out? :)

That. Is. So. COOL!

The only thing I can think of that might help are the passives that extend status durations, like Pyromancer, Frost Mastery and Encircling Veil.

Wow. I admit I wasn't too interested in this topic but after seeing that video I can't help but applaud this.

Cheers!

I think a case could be made for Rejuvenating Barrier, the one that increases the stamina regen while under the effect of a barrier, and the Artificer passive Trick of the Trade, that increases status effects for teammates. Also Chain Lightning's Shock effect can also increase the damage of the DOTs; To the Death would also work well, allowing these DOTs to scale up even faster, and I'm pretty sure Ring of Pain is worth a test. Sustaining both Ring of Pain and Whirlwind would be a challenge though!

I can see it:

> Earthshaking Strike

> Bees

> Antivan Fire

> Ring of Pain

> Whirlwind

> proc poison

> proc caltrops

> somehow manage to sustain everything (Cassandra uses Rally, Vivienne uses Rejuvenating Barrier...)

Numbers everywhere, rapidly growing
