Dots in general seem pointless at perilous and below, very few mobs have enough HP to live longer than 8sec unless you're running solo. And I'm guessing they still haven't (and seemingly never will) fix the problem of dots not stacking, so there's that too.
Shokasit finisher on bosses is kinda fun, starting off an 8-round dot at 16K then having the damage step down feels about right.

Something tells me that the devs are going to make the bosses immune to that in the future.
