Hello fellow stat-freaks :)

With the current Golden Nug implementation I now have access to every schematic on my rogue which despite of hours of rezoning on HW and Valeska's Watch farming I hadn't completed before.

Now I have two equipment builds running with both reaching 49% crit which equal 100% with the 2% crit chain talent and double crit chance talent.

My current build's stats:

- attack 69%

- critical strike damage 274%

- critical strike chance 49%

- main hand /offhand damage 164/149

- flanking damage 33%

- defense magic 30%

- defense melee 23%

- defense ranged 59%

- armor 280

second build:

- attack 83%

- critical damage 215%

- critical strike chance 49%

- main hand/offhand damage 174/164

- flanking damage 33%

- defense magic 16%

- defense melee 32%

- defense ranged 76%

- armor 324

Obviously the first build gives way more crit damage, but the second one has higher attack and base damage. Further, due to leather armor instead of mage, it has the better defense.

So, which one would you prefer? In terms of general viability.

I'd go with the first build because of the higher magic defense and Crit Damage.

First one edges the second out slightly on crits even with the attack and base damage increase on the second according to my math.

Confirmed. Show your work, dude. ;)

1st: (164)(1.69)(1 + (.49 + .2)(2)(2.74)) = 1051.8

2nd: (174)(1.83)(1 + (.49 + .2)(2)(2.15)) = 1016.7

The edge is so close that in practice, with the +/-5% random factor thrown in, you won't notice the difference in game.
