The Warden can let Redcliffe die, kill Connor, not protect Amaranthine ect
And yet all of Ferelden still loves them,. The Inquisition brings back stability to the entire south however, both countries are after them now. It's clear there is a massive bias and favoritism going on.
It has little to do with the Inquisitor's actions. From what we've seen, it's not a moral opposition to the Inquisition that's occurring (though I'm sure that's how many in-game will justify it), it's opposition to having an independent faction holding power enough to, quote, "rival nations."
The Warden didn't end DA:O with an army or an immense spy network or political connections enough to potentially shake nations.
It's a fear of power and issue of control, not a question of ethics.
