so, i finally made it into a post game completion DLC. meaning, i had beat the game on PS4 then upgraded my video card on my PC and have only been playing DAI on my PC since.
so i finally entered the Descent DLC, i also have jaws of hakkon, but from what i understand it should be held off until much later in the game. so i entered the deep roads around lv 12, it was a little tough so i thought i would do some story and leveling and come back.
so i did at lv 14 and i just feel like descent kinda ruined the mystique of finding powerful weapons...
like right off the bat i found some overly powerful (IMO) weapon recipes etc... i held off making the one 350+ damage dagger for my rogue, but i'm just finding tons of purples left and right...
it's kinda ruined my enjoyment of the game. like, i feel its a lv 15 adventure with level 20+ rewards in case people who had already completed the game would be playing this DLC. which i'm sure most people playing the DLC are.
and that's fine, but i was curious if anyone else felt like i do, and on future play throughs will hold off on running Descent till very late in the game, maybe just a few levels before running jaws.
i know you could find some decent gear in earlier DAO DLCs, but i feel they are MUCH more balanced than Descent, descent just feels like a wild Monty Haul...
great story and setup though, i love the deep roads, so of course i love returning to them... and i lvoed the crazy long and deep run of the deep roads in DAO.
this is just more of an opinion and question post. i'm NOT complaining, i'm just going to tailor my play next time to keep campaigns like this later in the game.
and i'm just typing this while i hit refresh in Origin waiting for Trespasser!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee................................. (squeep)
