basically I have been playing the mass effect series of late, and I just love it.
thing is the multiplayer for ME3 seems pretty deep, but I don't feel any reason to play it as it just seems boring (go in and shoot enemy's with other players... why?)
I would suggest making it so that the multiplayer actually rewards you for playing it in the single player campain
(getting a character to max level should give you them as a war asset, adding them to the Normandy (with the actual name you gave them in MP) as a new companion (minimal dialogue, and not able to be selected during the final mission as they "supposedly" go fight in other area's during the final mission to protect earth)
(also, characters from MP should look like you customized them in MP as a companion and the "cycle appearance" button should be replaced with a "cycle companion" button, to preserve space in the character selection screen, allowing you to cycle between your MP characters in just 1 slot instead of giving them all a slot of there own)
along with that ALL unique moves they possess should be added to the list of bonus powers available for shepard.
(obviously you should still only be able to select 1 bonus power at the time)
selecting one of there powers as bonus power should also alter shepard's dodge and melee moves to that character's moves (for example if you take the N7's paradon's snap freeze as your bonus power, then shepard's melee and heavy melee should also become the shield move from the paragon. (this also including other melee styles like the project phoenix's whips, the N7 shadow's katana, or even having Shepard giving headbutts and charge attacks like a krogan, based on who's bonus power he is borrowing)
(teleportation moves via melee and heavy melee should of course not be able to pass true walls so player's can't just skip by locked doors, but still be able to teleport past small objects)
I mean I did buy this game for its single player story, not its multiplayer, its pretty dull to see how many cool moves are available in multiplayer that shepard (our story's hero) can't even have, leave alone unlocking the war assets in multiplayer does nothing in single player beside raising a number a little higher.
if I would get special new powers and companions in single player by playing the multiplayer then it would at least be worth killing endless waves of enemy's as there would be a actual reward bound to it for the core of the game itself
why? well as far as I can see this is the last game with Shepard, so it would be nice to see him at the pinnacle of his power.
shepard gained more powers from mass effect 1 to 2, but when the game went from ME2 to 3, there was not much new difference beside the heavy melee for shepard himself.
and obviously as a extra, making all bonus powers in ME2 and ME3 class restricted (biotic powers ONLY for a biotic shepard, powers from a multiplayer vanguard character only for a vanguard shepard)
