Are they lovers or just a couple? To me it seemed they hadn't become that intimate yet, but maybe I missed dialogue.
He kissed her, but it's such a sweet romance I don't think it should be tainted by becoming too adult too soon.

My most sincere apologies for being upset at the forced maiming of my character. /s
Look at it this way. It's fiction, not really medieval, so losing an arm wouldn't necessarily be that devastating. We do have a Dagna who could probably whip something up. A prosthetic or some kind of weapon (bow/shield/etc.) attachment maybe.
Also, human Cole becomes lovers with Maryden and they walk off into the sunset together.
Most random pairing ever. ![]()

I thought so too, but it's too cute. He says that he loves helping people and her music helps people and he makes her happy and she makes him happy. He also spent years listening to her sing at the tavern lol but if he's a spirit he sets her up with Krem.
Spoiler
Getting the bloody thing out is a god damn chore (honestly I spent twenty minutes of my stream actually screaming I was that frustrated) but I dunno if it changes anything yet, so I'd let it out - don't forget to blow up the explosives because they're in the way
Also I did this on casual. It was not on casual. It felt like a nightmare.

Solas implies they didn't have sex since he didn't want to sleep with her under false pretenses, but the ending slides still used the word lover. I'm using it the same way, simply to describe two people in a romantic relationship.
Okay one more question, last one I swear: are the consequences of drinking from the Well yourself discussed/mentioned?
I'd want to know this too.
For one thing there were those spirit guardians and if you say the right thing they wont attack. In fact, they'll even help out fighting the hordes of Qunari in that area.
There also a Voice that sounds like Flemeth that says something like "You do not know what you're doing" and "You cannot see when you're in the dark" in different section of the deep roads portion of the game.

They asked about Cole and Maryden.

Yeah, I saw the kiss. It seems like that's as far as they have gone, but I was curious if they say it's gone further than that.

I was talking about Cole and Maryden. But okay you mean lovers as in couple not lovers as in sexually intimate.

There are no signs of Thedas having prosthetics in the lore. The closest thing is a Golem, and that won't work for a number of reasons.
They asked about Cole and Maryden.
I was just justifying my use of the word lover.
In a romanced playthrough he took the Inquisitor's arm because it was killing her, so...I'd assume it would be the same for friendship, but I don't know about rival.

I was just providing evidence that the use of the word lover doesn't necessarily require intimacy.
Well, they'll have to invent them eventually don't they? What better time to try than when a leader loses a limb?

YES! He does love her! He said it himself and they never had sex, so I know what you mean. Ah that ending scene was too romantic. Solas is so damn tragic! And Lavellen is so headstrong and determined.

Nothing in the previous lore so far, inquisitor is a special case all together who can get access to some of the best mages and engineers in thedas. They can easily solve the situation via magic or magitech.

Nonhuman Cole sets Maryden up with Krem
I'm torn by this. I love making Cole human and seeing him happy, but I want Krem happy too and if Cole's a spirit he is happy. Can't decide now lol

I meant using it to describe Cole and Maryden's relationship. Solas and Lavellan didn't have sex, but the game still says he is her lover. The world lover to describe a couple doesn't necessarily mean that said couple has to be intimate.
I know everyone and their dog is going their Solasmance run first, but anyone know anything about a platonic Solas relationship?

I am waiting for that too, since I have a female Mage Trevelyan who has the highest approval with him right now.

So out of curiosity can Lavellan decide to join him?
Elven gods were just powerful elven mages, cruel, all except Mythal. Solas created the veil to save the elves from them. However... it made elves become mortals and most of their wonders to rot. Now Solas wants to destroy the world to bring back elven time of the old. Of course all summarized.
So, he's basically Darkseid then? Somehow, I don't think this will stop the fangirls from singing his praises.
Merrill's just wants a pet griffon, she's harmless.
Indeed. Maybe she and the Wardens can work out a deal? No doubt she'd be willing to share all her magical or Elven lore if it means getting Feathers ![]()
Wait, if Solas kills everyone, how can anyone be around to rebuild the old Empire?
Does he, like, actually have a plan for that, or is he just nuttier than Squirrel Girl's kitchen?
Alright, that was pretty funny, not gonna lie.
You actually asking about the sanity of a guy who gave his orb to a blighted magister and who wants to end the world? I really wish we could kill him but no bio wants to continue the insane plot point for future games.
And this is the problem. If these spoilers are true, then Solas is one of the biggest villains in the entry franchise, and we're not going to fight him? Maybe this is just me and my old-fashioned attitudes on storytelling, but aren't the heroes supposed to try and stop the bad guys instead of just letting them wander around, doing God knows what? Between this and sacrificing Hawke/Stroud/Loghain/Alistair to Nightmare to save his own skin, the Inquisitor just isn't all that great at this, is he?

Yes but he refuses, so she's off to hunt him down and bring him home (or slap some sense into him).
Also I laughed so hard at the broken heart option. He locked you in for 2 years and NOW you can break it off LOL
Yes, I alway wanted that my charming Inquisitor lady run around with something like this:

No, but the Inquisition has Dagna. Nothing is impossible.

Solas says "I did not lay with you...." and I don't remember all of the rest but it seemed to me that he was implying that he did not bed my Quizzy just to gain false trust. Or something to that effect.
