This DLC only shifts focus north, but that doesn't mean that this group of Inquisition remnant itself even matters, as that, in the next game.
What I strongly doubt it that we'll never see the Inquisitor in DA4. Or that we'll never get a main story quest involving what they're doing up in Tevinter. Stuff like that.
I can see a Morrigan In Arbor Wilds type deal (very generally speaking) situation.
To be honest, the only involvement the Inquisitor and Co. will have I think is maybe give Dorian information through the sending crystal he gives you.
Also! Does Solas take your arm because its killing you or because you're a threat with it? Also! Does he tear of your arm super gently if you romance him?
Just saw a video with the ending. I have to say, after expecting repeatedly to be let down, I think I feel psyched again for the first time in quite a while. I'd feel more psyched if the follow-up wasn't a good 3-4 years away, but decently psyched nonetheless. One thing I am curious about, though, based on the ending cards...
There are a whole lot of "what happens if..." questions I have, really, but that's probably the biggest one at the moment.

Did you do his personal quest? If you do not choose between the Qunari and Chargers and ignore the quest, he will attack.

The DLC glitches sometimes where it thinks you made choices you didn't, so maybe at that point it read your game as if you sacrificed the Chargers.

Any closure on The Warden quest to stop the calling and dose it say if he/she goes back to Leliana if she is made Divine or other LI?
Also Hawke journey to the Grey Warden HQ and return to they LI

Yeah, I saw it. The Qunari as a whole still honor the alliance with the Inquisition and later extend it to the Chantry as well. These people we fight are a rogue sect, or at least are disavowed after being discovered and failing.

So who else thinks the magical cellphone exists so that Dorian will be able to convey plot relevant Wellwhispers to the new party in DA4 (assuming there is one) if the Inquisitor was the one to drink from it? Which means! MORE DORIAN!

Okay, thanks it confirms my suspicion that the issue is actually me. Seeing this letter made me think that there was probably some issues with the save, but if the alliance with the qunari still happens even when you save the charge, then, this letter has nothing to do with a choice ( sacrifice for the sake of the alliance with the qunari ) being taken into account.

If you are friends with solas or in a romance he is more regretful about what he is trying to do and he hopes you prove him wrong. Since before he met the inquisitor he thought the current world is not worth preserving but the inquisitor has shown him otherwise. Still you know how solas is guilt and all that

Now, I really feel vindicated after learning that qunari are indeed a bunch of hypocritical, A-level arses. Hey, how about we prey on the fearful and then we brainwash them and then use them to kill everyone who don't agree with us, by using the same magic we are trying to kill them for.
I hope they die and burn in whatever damned hell burns hotter.
