My ending:

Spoiler

What choices lead to this ending? Thus far I've only seen two variations on stream, and this wasn't one of them.

Boost32, thank you :)

Just one? It's so sad. :(

Its keep evolving through the DLC, at first it doesnt even do dmg, but in the end if you dont use it, it will Overload and cause dmg to you and your party.

The Inquisitor loses his/her arm?

I guess it will be replaced by a mechanic prosthesis. In DA4 there will be a fight with the new protagonist, which will end with an heavily burned Inquisitor. And finally the main villain of DA 4 will put the garbled corpse of the Inquisitor in a black suit.

Really, I think the Inquisitor will just be a major character in DA4, but not the PC.

Pretty sure the Inquisitor is the PC in DAI, or have we been playing different games?

Funny how you say variety isn't a bad thing after arguing that options for everyone shouldn't be included. You can't have it both ways.

It's a lot easier to defend the writers when you are happy with what you get. I am honestly happy about Cullen - that's definitely my favorite romance for my female quizzy - but I know exactly what you're saying. In fact, I have one word for you: Thane.

Unless you went with the "correct" romance option, aka Kaidan (who I loathed), female PCs got screwed. Garrus's romance was good, but I still felt like BioWare pushed everyone toward Kaidan. Like Thane? Well, too bad, because BioWare screwed you royally. Like Jacob? Well, the joke's on you because he can't keep his d**k in his pants for two seconds. I'd like to say at least they didn't screw everyone as badly as they screwed female PCs in ME3, but getting crapped on is getting crapped on.

Variety is a good thing, and the options for happy endings should be there, period. If you want to avoid them and wallow in misery, that should be an option as well. The more options, the better. You'd think that, by now, BioWare would realize that instead of making a big chunk of players unhappy by limiting choice so severely.

Hopefully the Inquisitor will be the one who kill Solas.

Soooo, tell me if I got it right:

Spoiler

Which would mean that

Spoiler

If that's the case, Inquisition did end on a positive note.

Hawke is back to Kirkwall and well if he/she survived the fade.

I dont think you can romance him if he continues to use lyrium.

You can tell him to keep using lyrium, then turn around and say "Just take lyrium for now because it's bad timing, but we'll find another way for you to quit eventually." I've always felt this choice was a cop out, so I've never done it.

I think it'd be appropriate for lyrium+Cullen romance to end with his addiction overtaking him (heavily implied that forcing him on lyrium is "wrong" in that it's bad for him emotionally and spiritually). After all, I romanced IB and sacrificed the Chargers, and my dwarf will likely end up alone (again, the player had a "warning" of sorts, as it is heavily implied that killing the Chargers is "wrong" for Bull emotionally and spiritually).

I do know one thing the next PC has to kill gods like its Wednesday if he wants to surpass the inquisitor.

My question is simple can the Inquisition survive without going under the divine?

Yes but not as a large and "official" organization you have less power but I think this is the best option considering if the inquisition remains a large organization solas is just going to play you like a fiddle again in my opinion. Since I feel that you need to go into the shadows and clamp down on your ranks to have a chance against him.

I do feel that the inquisitor may "sponsor" the next DA protagonist or help them out as much as they can.

You have 2 choices. Disband the Inquisition which will make Solas stronger and you can work in secret with trusted friends to save/kill him, or stay with the Inquisition and have possible corruption among it, but be stronger in your fight against Solas.

When you meet with Solas you have the choice of redeeming him in the future (he hopes you succeed) or preparing to kill him.

It ends with your Inquisitor ready to get new allies in Tevinter, and he/she wants to save Solas (if you chose redemption) or kill him.

So if Hawke returns to Kirkwall... Varric stealts the viscount´s throne from her? Just wow. Also, a dwarf ruling over a human city?

It would have been better to have him being the seneschal or something, not just plain ruler.

I doubt Hawke wanted that role even when he/she got it. Spending 6 years catering to everyone in Kirkwall and being forced into situations they wanted to stay out of, I can't blame them. Varric just has a better seat to keep writing stories.

I understand for Jacob, but for Thane I never found the complaint valid honestly. One of the first thing Thane says to you when you meet him is that he's dying, and he reminds you of the fact several times over the course of the game. Anyone who got in a romance with him knew what they were getting into, unless the writers pulled a secret cure out of their arses which they thankfully didn't do.

Trespasser is what all of DA:I should've been. Solas is what Cory should've been. Vanilla DA:I left me rather disinterested in the future of the franchise. Trespasser rekindled my interest.

For me, it's the worst-case scenario in every way. Even a forced death would have been better. Definitely giving this a pass, and probably future games as well.
