Why is this your worst case scenario? For me, it's the worst-case scenario in every way. Even a forced death would have been better. Definitely giving this a pass, and probably future games as well.

Well I just finished it and I have to say that I really enjoyed it.
It definitely sets up Tevinter as the next setting. Pretty much no doubt about it. And it sounds like the major plotlines will be redeeming/killing Solas as an ally of the Inquisition (or Inquisitor and his allies if the Inquisition is disbanded) and the Qunari/Imperium War. I'd also suspect that we can expect a plotline around the reform of the Imperium, either supporting it with Dorian/Maevaris or working against them. Perhaps a slave uprising? I'm officially excited for this now! I'm hoping that they place the whole story in Tevinter and Seheron and don't try to shoe horn in any other areas. Leave them for later games.
I liked that Harding was present in the final scene. Just the Inquisitor, Cassandra, Leliana, and Harding. Plus, Leliana's epilogue slide said that she was grooming her (and Charter and someone else) to be her successors. I'm definitely suspecting that Harding will be back in DA4 as a companion.
I chose to disband the Inquisition. It felt like it's time was over. I also vowed to redeem Solas. He's batshit crazy, but he's our bat **** crazy immortal elven mage demi-god, right?
Loved the ending credits with Cassandra reading the book. Every once in a while, DA needs to keep its tongue firmly planted in its cheek. That was fun.
Overall, this was a great DLC in my opinion. Sure, it was a bit glitchy (I had to restart because it majorly glitched when I released Ataashi) and there were a few loose ends still dangling, but I enjoyed it and think it was a fitting end to the Inquisition's story.

Well it was pretty obvious that the magical mcguffin is going to have a cost. I saw losing the arm a mile away when at the very start of the game they note that the mark would of consumed/killed you if you did not get it under control.
After trying to seal the breach and solas stabilizing it all it did was make the mark "stable". It was stuck me as a violent and unstable power that could go out of control at any moment. Plus I think my inquisitor looks cool with one arm. ![]()

Trespasser is what all of DA:I should've been. Solas is what Cory should've been. Vanilla DA:I left me rather disinterested in the future of the franchise. Trespasser rekindled my interest.
For me pretty much Trespasser drowned remnants of my interest in da series, proving that resolves around small group of characters that bioware will keep bringing up and story will be torture plot line started since first game, instead finish it and move onto new story and new characters, da now reminds me AC.

Anyone here play a character that romanced Cullen? There is a wedding scene. When does this scene take place?
I ask because in the snapshot image I saw...the Inquisitor still had both arms.
If i recall, when you talk to Cullen first time in this dlc you have option to do that.

The only thing I didnt like was the retcon of the College of Enchanters, now they exist in every playthrough. I dont even know why Divine Vivienne allowed them to form it, while in every epilogue (if the Inquisition sided with the mages) she squashed every rebellion and sent them back to the Circle.
Because... Writers have to work within the medium's limitations and prune some of the branching plot threads.

Hawke is back to Kirkwall and well if he/she survived the fade.
And if (s)he remained in the fade, it ended vaguely enough for a Hawke return in DA4 to work anyway.

Hey does anyone have a video of Iron Bull's betrayal? Or could someone who experienced it explain how exactly it goes down in detail?
Sorry, I'm just super interested. And I'm also glad some real consequences have been set forth through it all.

If you played a male mage Inquisitor who was a good friend to Solas, it seems to me that Solas ends up becoming someone like Magneto. A bald Magneto.
At the same, your Inquisitor becomes Charles Xavier. An amputated Charles Xavier.
Then at the end, if your Inquisitor is kind to Solas, he says "Let us save our friend from himself." I can imagine Charles saying to his X-Men "Let us save Erik from himself."

I love that part! I know Solas is redeemable. They wouldn't have given us the option if he wasn't. He hints he wants us to help prove he's wrong. That's what I'm going to do.

I'm joining the chorus of "I finished it, it was so great!"
Bran and Varric were amazing, though I was a bit sad for Hawke (she died in the Fade, Varric became spoiler and never even mentioned her!)
And Solas, of course. Ah. Awww. (happy sigh, sad sigh, hopeful sigh)
I didn't get it, though - the animation without the, um, arm thingy - was it a bug? I never saw the arm removed or anything.

So, I predicted the death of the inquisitor in some stupid and undavoible twist. Well I underestimated BW stupidity. They cut the ****** inquisitor's arm so he/she is alive and ready to some sad and horrible written cameo but he/she is not dead so no one is going to cry. This is sad. The ending was perfect, but BW can't actually be happy if they don't **** the ending. So... I'm done. Not interested in Andromeda, and not interested in DA4 now for this rushed and stupidly way to ruin a nice story. Not interested in BW any more. Oh, BTW, you should take notes on some Wild Hunt going on. A perfect trilogy with a perfect ending.

He removes it, but you don't see it I think. You hear the snapping sound and then he walks away before it's gone.

It's really stright foreward, during the final paths through the mirrors the woman your choosing calls for him by his Qun name and shows up and starts swinging, it may be differently if you take him with you, but would knock you down to three party meembers. so would have to go backwards to reswitch most likely, only happens if he is Qun Iran Buill

This dlc also is bugged as hell. I'll make a choice then reload and the game will have somehow gotten my previous choices mixed up like I'll have dorian unavailable as if we weren't friends yet he's available when I reload and vice versa. WTF.
And I'll have Bull Tal Vasoth dialogue on one instance then reload and I'll have bull as a qunari dialogue. >_<

Then they should have not allowed a Divine who previously would never allow something like that to happen.
a mage divine who cant controll many mages and force to do anything, chantry not have power as before and now mostly have it only in Orlais
it was more than +12 Chantry circles in Thedas except 7 in Tevinter and control of Mortalitasy Nevarra, Seers of Rivain and Grey Wardens mages
mages will do a organisations or guilds no matter what
