Here's a question: What does what we know now explain Templar abilities?

I remember a conversation between Solas and Cass where he mentions that they make reality more real how does this factor into him creating the veil?  Did the original Templars find something that showed them how copy what he did on a temporary and smaller scale?

Beyond the fact that they practice a form of blood magic anyway...

Easy explanation in my mind is that Solas used lyrium to construct the Veil. When Templars "reinforcing reality", they are using the lyrium in their blood to patch holes in the Veil. Conversely, mages use the lyrium in their blood to punch holes in the Veil to allow the Fade to creep through for a moment or two.

Any new gear or schematics in this dlc?

yep pretty much new gear and there is a greatsword which worth over 160,000 gold... but my hakon blade with superb currupting rune was better, so I just passed.

And there is a shop that selling all of crafting materials, and there are weapon and armor creating and modifying points altogether so you can easily buy and craft

I don't think there is a connection. I think what allows lyrium to do what it does is tied to he Titans and I don't think that has anything to do with the elves or the veil.

I agree, I think the Titans had this ability to shape the reality and "making reality more real". And by drinking their blood templars adquire the same abilities albeit in a much lesser degree. Maybe this ability of the Titans was the cause of the war between Titans and the ancient elves...

I think that we have a good analogy here between the Titans (templars) vs the Ancient Elves (mages).

Also I believe that the war that led the Evanuris into godhood was against the titans. They were the elven most powerful generals that won the war against titans and that made them kings and in time that made them gods...

I'm thinking the dwarves were the titans way of fighting back at one point given that they don't have a connection to the Veil. Also, in the lyrium mines (where you need to prime the gaatlok), there are some notes written by a Qunari convert about his speculation about why Elvhen statues are found in the deep roads and I think something is mentioned that the dwarves didn't like mythal (? need to double check later)

Now... I don't know if I'm on Solas's side or mine... This world of his could be wonderful for all we know. How can I stop the birth of a world only to preserve the only one I ever knew. Haaaaa, here's hoping that Bioware will give us the choice at the end of the serie.

I know the city elves are pretty disgruntled about their current situation, but I still fail to see how Solas could attract such a hugh following without using false promises and lies by omission, OR maybe they are just THAT willing to sacrifice everything for a better future (for their children?). Still I find this exploitation of their despair and hope somewhat distasteful, reminds me of what Orsino said before he turned Harvester (illusion of hope and such). Maybe the Dalish wouldn't be so easily to swallow his lies because of his reputation, maybe there would be a showdown between the Dalish and the city elves as well as the general "elves against the world".

Indentured servitude and literal or effective slavery  - especially following empress celene's actions in the masked empire - does not sound much worse than "A lot if not most of you gonna die" because that's already true. It's no worse than another exalted march, the likely outcome of rebellion.
Also we don't know for sure it will kill anyone from the process. Well. Any elves. It is an assumption.
Also, we don't know how many of the elves have also gone to the Qunari.

It also explains the description in the Temple of Mythal of the "Pillars of the earth" and their "soulless" servants. Solas saw a world full of non-mages as we would see a world of tranquil. That's what the dwarves must have looked like to the ancient elves.

I think the dwarves where both "souless" and "mindless" when they were the servants of the Titans, or they had a kind of hive mind with the Titans.

And I think that there is a good chance that winning this war led the ancient elven generals into godhood.

Solas:  Derp Derp, I will destroy the world and kill everyone because I am the sole arbiter of what kind of world is worth living in.

Qun Elves:  We are fight Solas Elves!

Solas' Elves:  We are fight Qun Elves!

Everyone Else:  @#$%ing ELVES!

Sera:  I was right. *smug*

But Sera is annoying and weird. So she can be ignored.

What I'm curious about is how Seekers do what they do. Their powers come from being de-Tranquilized by a spirit of Faith. How does a metaphorical hug from a spirit give mages their powers back, but turns non-mages into anti-magic superweapons? Is the spirit simply influenced by the mortals' need for an anti-magic superweapon and gives them what they think the very special circumstances of the Vigil will give them? That sounds a little too banal to me ... and would beg the question whether a spirit might likewise be able to turn a non-mage into a mage if that person really believed/needed/wanted it.

This DLC looks epic!
Can't wait to get it!

But why the heck is there no discussion on the lose of Inqy's arm? That seems really odd.

Also,
I'm confused,
In a discussion with Solas in the main story he asks "What would you do with the power of the Inq.?"
You can respond several ways,
1 way was something like "I'll bring back what was." (Or something along those lines.)
And Solas disapproves!
Why wouldn't he "greatly approve"?

Restoring what was is if you drink from the Well is what gets approval.

Elven gods were just powerful elven mages, cruel, all except Mythal. Solas created the veil to save the elves from them. However... it made elves become mortals and most of their wonders to rot. Now Solas wants to destroy the world to bring back elven time of the old. Of course all summarized.

So Solas was Avatar Quan & now wants to be the Dark Avatar

That's his job, not yours. He is to bring what was, and will not bring you along.

He wants you to just secure southern Thedas and make peace with things until the end.

I don't think they were mindless, but they were somehow linked to the Titans in a mental and spiritual way. I'm not sure they possessed much individuality. Something happened at one point to sever that bond, something the dwarves wanted to forget (I don't think this was the veil or the elves' doing)

The inscriptions in the Temple suggest that the Evanuris were preparing for war after they were worshipped as gods. I think there was another enemy, probably linked to dragons.

That's what I was wondering,
I did that PT prior to Trespasser's or even Descent's release.
But it struck me as odd that he wouldn't at least approve of the sentiment.
(Even if that approval would be a sneaky "good idea".)

I'd like to see our next PC in DA4, as a spirit (similar to Cole) who finds out/doesn't approve of Solas' plan.

Wait, so in Dorian's epilogue slide is that Maevaris Titus standing beside him?

It is indeed! The two of them are probably going to be big players in the next game, methinks

I don't know if it was dragons but I do agree that at least at one point Dwarves and Elves fought alongside each other to fight something based on the mural where Sandal was discovered

MMmm maybe, I thought they were preparing for war between themselves, as we already know there were disputes between them (Elgar'nan vs Falon'din, etc), but anything is possible.

But I still think that the war that led the elven generals to become kings first and then gods was the war they won against the Titans, we will see, Another possibility is that they defeated the Old Gods and imprisioned them inside the earth. I hope they answer this question in the next game.
