Haven't played it, but watched much of its primary content.

Its a few to several hours, maybe more, depending on how deep you go with it.

Qunari are indeed the enemies throughout.

It has a few flaws. Some are fixable, like choices not registering properly (PLEASE BIOWARE FIX ASAP), while others are just intrinsic, like no Scout Harding result, or not going as far as it could have with the 'Inquisition is under persecution' theme by not having royalty present. I get the feeling that if this was a full expansion, aside from anyone's problems with DAI overall, this content would have been the best batch of Dragon Age content ever. But since it is DLC (a few to several hours instead of up to dozens of hours), it is what it is. Which is good. Possibly great, but I'll reserve that for when I actually play.

There's a rehashing, of course. Rehash Cory setup. Rehash Morrigan setup. Rehash Hawke setup. Rehash rehash. But honestly, it isn't done in a bad way.

You may not get everything you wanted with the Inner Circle, but you'll get a lot.

It isn't as cinematic as anything Mass Effect (or even DAO-DA2) still, but closer than almost anything else in DAI.

Soundtrack is superb IMO. Finding and downloading it ASAP.

Solas may attract more roleplaying hate and even fanbase hate than ever before (whether for character reasons or feeling like he's getting too much focus or whatever), but I'm signing up for the ride.

I'd say its better than the other two DLCs, unless you're specifically disappointed or it lacks a certain thing you actually really like (like more open zones like JoH).

EDIT: A 'problem' with DAI is that while it does have choice-consequence, it seems to prefer to, more than DAO or DAII combined (IMO), act more as setup for something more, something.. DA4 (haha). More episodic for the series. Trespasser is full of this, with the clear knowledge that the choices you're making in it are not meant to be fully reflected within the DLC. Trespasser largely deals just with how you've generally built your Inquisitor and Inquisition, and your relationship and choices with companions. And it may not do too much with even that oftentimes, but it is an 'epilogue' after all, not a sequel of any sort.

Anyway, this isn't necessarily a problem if the DLC succeeds at hyping you up for a new DA in 2017-2018.

Finished it 30 minutes ago and it was the best DLC out of the three for me. Only downside was

Spoiler
.

It is definitely the most story-heavy and has way more cinematic scenes than everything else in DA:I. With the new challenges it was more difficult from time to time than JoH.

I would recommend it if you're into Dragon Age story and general lore. Only wait till the first patch because it has some bugs and glitches.

Just finished it. It's a great ending to DA:I, and I would say it's the best Dragon Age DLC ever!

Do not mess with Solas that dude is way too strong. If DA4 is about stopping him the PC there must be a very special whatever you chose him to be.

Also now we know who is the strongest mage in DA universe as far as we know.

To be fair about romance (SPOILERS AS I DON't KNOW HOW TO DO THE HIDE THINGY)

You can talk to a Cassandra who is not Devine about getting married.  And she more or less says she will say yes when you finaly do ask.

If dragon age 4 gets green lite your going to want to at-least play this one, does have a few draw bracks but don't wish to spoil them here, and your choices are reflected.

It's worth the money to get all but one lose end closed, that most likely will be closed in the next game

Hmmm is it me or Mother Giselle had the lip implants removed? Or maybe they just fell off during this 2 years?

I have to admit, I went "what...?" more times than I liked, I think Descent was better in gameplay; combat and exploration, but this was definitely the best one in terms of companion interaction and romance content. Plus some main game choice consequences, which I was pleased with.

I just finished it and I liked it a lot. A lot of reveals about elven history, their gods, magic and all sorts of stuff. Also, Solas as well.

It was exciting, and concluded the game on a high note. I can't wait for the next one.

So in short, yes, it is well worth the cost imo.

It's awesome. Easily the best out of the three and could very well be played like a part of the story without the DLCish feeling you get with Hakkon - which I liked - and Descent - which I didn't. It feels organic. There's definitely an emotional investment and I'm interested in my other playthroughs to see how this will turn out.

Easily the best of the three. JoH was pretty decent, and Descent... well wasn't, it was too short, too linear with not enough story meat.

Tresspasser is basically Citadel, with a less zany concept that perfectly ties into the main story, whereas Citadel was a silly adventure in an otherwise nigh-on grimdark war narrative. It's also got lore tidbits, loads of character interactions, several consequences from the main game, some decent gameplay concepts (such as the Gaatlock in the Deep Roads and freeing the dragon), new ability upgrades, new difficulty modes, satisfying epilogues, and a great final scene. I liked it a lot, and it's possibly Bioware's best DLC to date.

I know that if the entire game was of this quality, it could have been a contender for Origins's position as best of the franchise.

It's a good DLC, but it's bugged. Let them patch it first.

Hell one could say Trasspasser is just a more serious Citadal dlc that gives closure and is post ending.  Sure there are some funny bits now and then but once it starts to get really serious and dark, it does not let up.

Easily the best out of the three. It is the perfect blend of story, lore, politics, blood and tears.

Probably my favorite DLC since Legacy and it even tops it for me. Kind of has a sort of "Citadel" type feel to it too in that you get to reconnect with your companions.

They did a solid job on this one and it sets up the next game nicely.

It also does a wonderful job in answering several questions posed from the last game (and last three if you consider the revelations about elves made) as well as setting up some new questions to be answered in games to come.

Question and please don't be too spoliery. If cass is not divine you can marry her right? I'm a bit confused on the marrying your romances.

Cass wouldn't even agree to date you unless you wooed her properly, so it's reasonable to expect that her standards about something as serious as a proposal would be high. Without getting too spoilery, a multinational inquest doesn't seem as if it would be a good place to get engaged.

Trespasser had a good ending and was a very satisfying conclusion to Inquisition, but the character interaction was really pretty limited. Not at all on a par with the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect... though there was a lot of talk about Kirkwall and many nods to DAII -in dialogue and codex entries- which i still consider to be the best game in the series, and so really enjoyed.

The exalted council stuff had the potential to be interesting, but was eschewed in favour of the combat stuff which i found pretty forgetful... though i did enjoy learning more about the elves.

That's a hard question to answer. The first thread appeared about 4 hours after XB1 release, but I'm 8 hours in and still not done. I turn over every leaf, read every codex entry, and choose every dialogue option.

I've found 4 schematics so far: light, medium, and heavy armor based on Calpernia's, and a staff. All are decent. There's a crafting shop that sells all kinds of crafting materials dirt cheap in infinite quantities, and the "foundry" has all the amenities of Skyhold, including a tinting table and the Golden Nug.

its ok, the battles are just as uninteresting as the rest(just loads of hit points and no strategy involved)

the dog treats has a cool weapon or maybe a funny one

i liked freeing the dragon (i dislike the Dragon Age view of dragons)

The Sola's chat was the highlight

I am all about crafting.

Took me about eight and a half hours, being absurdly thorough and methodical.

There was one armour schematic (a heavy, medium and light variation but all look exactly the same), one staff, one bow, one shield.

Aside from some small bugs (I had quite a few references to choices I didn't make - like someone saying I put Gaspard in charge of Orlais, when I put Briala and Celene in charge?) I feel that overall, it is good dlc. Decent selection of news items with interesting stats, cohesive story that eventually leads into an introduction for what may happen in the next game. As a Solas romancer, I was extremely slightly disappointed by the ending of that romance.

Pretty decent ending overall, but left me with a feeling that it's not the end for the Inquisitor for some reason.
