So, whenever I tried to talk to Vivienne, the game crashed to desktop.

And when the talks began, it was mentioned that Gaspard sits on the throne, even though minutes earlier someone commented on how lovesick Briala and Celene were being.

Any other bugs people are coming across?

You're lucky mine crashes immediately at launch over and over again. (Xbox1) I am uninstalling and reinstalling to see if it fixes.

Same crash here when talking to Vivienne... I don't mind since I hate her but I hope it will fix son.

Xbox 1 here Sir Johnson. I am trying to reinstall now and see if it corrects itself.

The only bug I've encountered so far is an inescapable crash that occurs during the second fight. I can't progress any further because of it

I have never used mods for DAI. Still getting stuck on that loading screen.

No crash when talking to Vivienne if I removed mods

I have never crash until now its the dlc bioware rushed it now theres crashes.

I am on PC.

 

In my case, any kind of interaction with an in-game menu (inventory, shops, etc.) crashed the game.

 

The reason was the mods. I removed them using the Mod Manager from the DAIToolsSuite.

 

 (some of them were not even showing in the DLC while working perfectly on the main game)

 

It solved the problem.

I crash when I try to talk with Vivienne but i could just ignore her and more on, now though I am crashing when I...am following the... things that lead me to the thing...I cant get past it.

On PC, I have played with mods but I have disabled them and have tried altering the patch number, still wont work.

I´ve had the same bug at the beginning of the Exalted Council. Celene ruled as Empress with Briala at her side in my DAI campaign, but the Orlesian ambassador (Cyril, I think?) mentions Gaspard being Emperor.

I'm having a bit of an odd issue...

I'm looking for the Viddasalla and my companions seem to have stopped following me. They'll zone through the Eluvian with me, but won't follow along the level. Oddly enough, if I switch to another party member they'll start following them.

Edit: I've figured it out -

the game seemed to think my Inquisitor was in another area (when I fell off a ledge I zoned back there). My followers teleported to me and are following now.

Double edit: Except now I can't continue because

I was at the Inverted Island, then I got zoned back to Scholars Retreat, and now the Eluvian back to the Inverted Island won't function. There is another way into the library but there's an invisible wall so obviously I can't move forward.

I was unable to talk to Varric and The Iron Bull in the opening when you can talk to everyone. Bull would just say, "Hey, Boss." And Varric, "I'm here if you need me."

 

They also incorrectly mentioned who was the ruler of Orlais.

 

Don't know if its a bug or what, but whenever I use the new Anchor ability I can go through the purple flames untouched but when I go back through them Inky dies.

Yup, definitely a problem.

I entered the Inverted Island, fell off the edge whilst there, respawned at Scholars Retreat and now can't get back through the Eluvian to the Inverted Island, which I need to do to complete the "discover where the Viddasala went" objective.

Gonna have to reload and do that entire section all over again...

I'm experiencing a bug when I enter the eluvian (it's not a spoiler, since it's all over the DLC advertisement). I enter and it's an endless black loading screen. Curiously, when I force a close (Alt+F4 or Task Manager), I see my character, for about 1 second or less, standing in what seens to be the next area I was suppose to go, then the game closes.

 

I don't use mods!

 

Specs:

Intel i5 4570

16GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 970 (driver 355.82)

Win10

"For those who have the infinite loading screen on entering the first eluvian:

 

If you're using the 60 fps cutscene fix, try removing it. I only had to remove it for an eluvian that leads to party selection though. So  try this

- save right before the eluvian

- quit

- turn off the 60 fps fix

- load game

- go through eluvian

- save

- quit

- turn on cutscene fix and resume gaming"

just finished playing, gotta say, way more bugs than i ever encountered in the main game

- one ctd at potion stand (this is probably my pc just freaking out for no reason)

- often in combat my inky would just stand there like a doofus and do nothing

- after killing the final boss my inky's head just.. disappeared, for like 5s.

- put lyrium sigil on vivienne, it made her invulnerable. supposed to be +50% barrier/-50%hp, and while it certainly does that, it also makes it so when she runs out of health she just doesn't die (haven't tried other sigils or with other characters)

So, I'm at Winter Palace. Changed wardrobe from red outfit to blue in formalwear. Now I've entered my first Eluvian and the rest of my party is in full armor, but I'm stuck in formalwear.

 

Is this... um, how it's supposed to be or a bug? I'll try reloading tomorrow night from my Winter Palace save BEFORE the wardrobe change. Cause I'm dying awful quick thanks to no real armor.
