Must thank the BW team for making a challenge actually pay off.

More of these would be welcome.

Finally challenges making me feel like I've accomplished something other than a title/portrait/banner.

Sometimes you grind for hours for gold and have nothing to show for it, you grind for hours for weekend challenge and it's loot of dissapointment and now I can happily grind for a goal to get a new set of armour that has nothing to do with RNG screwing me out of a reward.

It really is good incentive for a grind knowing that you will be rewarded at the end of it with some unique.

I hope the game will focus on rewarding people this way instead of giving them RNG chests.

And also I imagine it would unlock all the characters except the virtuoso without having to use any materials for upgrades for new players if they put in the time to get the xp.

Yeah, that's sort of how I saw the challenge. A quick booster for the newer players.

My Lego looks BAD ASS without his helmet with his new armour.  His tattoos make sense unlike little Melvis.

Yea good time to thank you for these challenges. Better than the 100th "killed 5000 xyz to gain the 50th title" challenge :D

As the OP said, it´s something to look forward while playing .... the first challenges worthy to track

Good job, I would appreciate more of those challenges :)

And God-tier items with a 1% drop rate.

I just dropped about 100k and got exactly nothing I equipped on any characters. Getting useful stuff some way would be nice.

30k away from my final set....

Man that was a fun grind.... I actually feel like achieved something and got rewarded for it....

Not achieving something then getting spat in the face.

I think I'm 200k or so away from the Mage set.

I have them all too.

Loved doing them.  Even made me play Duelist after I said I'd never play a rogue again.   Ah how I missed you Izzy.

9/9/15 Rogues retired  (unless a new character pops up which I doubt)

Just have the rogue to do now.  Pretty fancy duds but more than the look I like the no helmet/hood look for some of the characters, except Rion, he is just too freaking ugly, I tried out his new armour and then nope, nope, nope, back to the hood you go.

At least the new (ish) players wont have to craft every piece of armour that led up to the drakescale......

I would have been bothered about all the mats I'd wasted BUT most are back at 255 now haha

Given the pain in the ass to get the weapons and accessories, I was surprised the armour was just given away.  Still I guess newer players needed a starting point.

I feel these armors are end game and thus may break the desire to craft, but I'm relative newb. While not having a default perk built in, they are the highest rated armors available even above the crafted purps. Throw in Battle-class or Superior mods and they are nice, but perhaps the trade-offs on a lower rated armor even out with the built in perk.

The color scheme is cool too, not default all dragon colors from SP, but neat. However I think I will not equip it on everyone. I don't like it on Skywatcher, when I put it on him it revealed his secret identity as Powder from same said film. lol

All said, I love the challenges and these style rewards. So yay! And thank you.

As a new player myself, I think you are underestimating the amount of time it's going to take to get these for new players.

It's a slow grind running mostly threatening.

And while I can do ok with silent sister or hunter on perilous, it's only with the right group comp and with at least one or two promoted players.

Which leads to lots of wipes on perilous, which makes grinding threatening a faster exp/gold per hour grind. Probably.

I'm not complaining and definitely don't think it should be nerfed. It's an awesome reward and the grind feels appropriate.

It's just not going to be a quick get for us newbies.

What I really wish they would do is exponentially increase the tier 1 crafting mats drops. Or at least the crappy one of the tier one, if they want to keep the better ones a little more rare (plzgawdMOARCOTTON).

The use of scarcity of tier one mats as a gating mechanism is probably over.

Experienced players probably have more of the crappy tier one mats than they know what to do with, and the newbie players are being held back from advancing by an outdated gating mechanic.

Isabela looks hideous with Drakeskin. That bandanna and hairstyle really don't go well with the armor at all.

On the bright side, you can finally see Luka and Korbin's hairstyle.
