Well they never fixed the elven arm bugs that are prevalent throughout the game, and that was present since launch. Take that for what you will.

What bug is that? Only recently started my first elfquisitor.

Sometimes the arms glitch, an just hang to the side when idle, clipping through your torso. It only happens to elves. Here's an example pic.

It also needs a patch for that new outfit.  Good lord Bioware at least TEST These new schematics!

It's starting to crash for me now out of nowhere when the most biggest twist just happened!! It's crashed 6 times already and counting. I'm not giving up! I must know why X did X!! 

 

Edit: 8 now, my god this is ridiculous.

Hello. I am sad to report I am experiencing severe crashing issues on the ps4. I am using characters without lunge and slash (iron bull specced to vanguard). The game started first crashing at combat engagements, but now it also crashes at the war table when trying to access the trespasser dlc as well, rendering it virtually unplayable. I reinstalled the game and all dlc, when that didn't work, I reinstalled all of my ps4 software and then reinstalled the game again, but to no avail. It keeps crashing. Am I doing something wrong? What is going on? Not at all pleased with this most unwelcome of developments. Is there any other way I am not aware of in which I can fix it? I am 65+ hours into this playthrough, I would rather not lose it. Thank you in advance for a swift and definitive resolution of the issue.

Hey guys, I'm getting a different issue with the first eluvian. I can't seem to go through with a full party. One member loads fine, two members loads fine but try to go through with a full party and it shows my Inquisitor through the Eluvian, then the whole game freezes and the sound drops... Is there a fix for this yet?

How disappointing.  Thanks for the heads up, everyone.  I'm 2-3 patches back, and that's where I'll stay, for now (Xbox One).  I'm interested in this DLC, and I thought I was going to have to accept the destruction of the spirit blade to be able to play it.  The problems are clearly much worse than that.

 

I'll keep an eye out for a proper fix to this mess.  I would like to get this DLC eventually.

I played with a new Character after finishing Trespasser and the game crashed when I got to skyhold. When I reloaded I hadn't made it to the camp outside Haven yet. 

 

I also had a bug where my characters wouldn't walk or run after combat I had to bunny hop through a mirror before my party would move freely.

I have basically a game breaking glitch that some others have mentioned. I'm on PS4, and with the fight with the large Saarebas, when it's health gets to about halfway a cutscenes is apparently supposed to trigger. However my game freezes and doesn't respond to any buttons etc. even though the combat music is still playing. Basically, I can't progress any further and this is obviously frustrating because I can't finish a DLC I paid for lmao

I've disabled lunch and slash completely and also fried another save. Still happens.
From some searching on the internet this seems to be a ps4-only problem if that helps. Really hope this gets fixed in a patch or something, would love to actually finish this dlc...

I am on PC, and was able to play the game all this time without CTD. I was also playing with vanilla patch 10 and the CTD kept happening until I removed Cass from the mix. I'll respec her or just disable lunge and slash. I will post tonight if this fixed my problem.

Hello Everyone I on Win7 64bit. I've never experienced crash until I purchased and installed DLC packs until 2 days ago. That day CTD without any error started to happen continuously and always during fight. When I saw the reason might be the lunge and slash I removed them from tactics and game didn't crash to desktop. 

Unfortunately this time game did freeze completely. Had to restart computer. Anyone experienced something similar?

My glitch/bug is the persistent mark of the inquisitor always glowing/flashing always making an annoying sound effect.

I'm actually having trouble with Jaws of Hakkon crashing. I finished my game right after Trespasser came out, then went to play the other dlcs first. But JoH kept crashing to desktop every 5-20 minutes. After wasting hours trying to play it, I just loaded up an earlier save, and went to play Trespasser, which didn't crash once for me. It's really strange how one patch adds things, and breaks 50 more.

I am also having the the ladder glitch, can't pick up loot either. On PC with no mods.

With no mods, I disabled Cass's "lunge-and-slash" and I had no more crashes in original content. I won't use many mods when I get around to playing Trespasser.

My game seems to only crash when I'm trying to talk to my companions or on cutscenes. :/

My screen would turn red and my computer would restart by itself. Or I would have to push the restart button on my computer because the red screen would stay on. It's REALLY annoying. I have no mods on my computer by the way. I also get the "Gaspard is on the Throne" bug.

well, I've experienced the same issue some of you've have. Namely the one, when you go pass through the eluvian, then choose a party, next thing is my elfquisitor saying "ooh, it's so colorful here". And then the game freezes... Tried windowde mode, turned off vsync, disabled sk hair texture mod..
Any ideas, I wanna play this dlc so badly...

Are you using the ability Lunge and Slash? (we are aware of an issue with that for combat).

 

The crash during Vivi/conversations seem to be caused by mods.

 

The Crash before the DLC starts appears to be mainly on Xbox One and we are looking into it.

Well that's total bull, because I'm on PC and I can't even get the DLC to start. I've tried fixing the game, changing directx, disabling lung/slash, going into the war room to open the quest but not start it then leave/come back and none of that has worked. So I wasted money on a DLC I can't even use. Thanks.

What exactly is the problem? Is it crashing? Does it not show up (are you logged in to the game servers)?

Disabling Lunge and Slash worked for me too. On PS4 here, btw. Although it is still weird that the game kept crashing with the Iron Bull in the party (NOT specced to weapon and shield and not even capable of the ability). I dont know about the War Table crash yet - have yet to get to that part with my current playthrough and I am not going to try one of the finished ones because seeing another crash screen may cause me to throw things. So for now, avoiding using the Iron Bull (which makes me sad, but at least it does not make my console freeze and die), and disabling the Lunge and Slash seem to have done the trick.

 

I have done the Saarebas fight once before, and it went without a hitch. Though granted, it was that first, problem-free playthrough. I did not know even that was an issue, so I am a bit worried now. Just how prevalent is this problem on the PS4?

The post didn't clarify whether it was a crash or if the mission didn't start for other reasons. This is important information when diagnosing a problem. The lack of a dxdiag file also makes the problem report very bare-bones. I agree with devSin that the post wasn't clear.

About that... I made game vanilla and the eluvians got to work. But now Im running into a merchant issue which fteezes the game once I go to a merchant. Damn, "can't one DLC from Bioware just stay fixed" ? xD

I’m playing Dragon Age Inquisition on the PS4.  After downloading and playing Trespasser, I was having a few issues.  The difficulty level has changed dramatically from casual to hard as if I was playing at a torment level given the levels that my characters was at.  I found it extremely difficult to play it like this.  I couldn’t fight the dragon with, what seems like, level  50 quanari attacking my team, when my team were at level 26 by the time I finished the main story line, besides the fact that there were unlimited amounts of quanari attacking, while trying to fight this dragon.  Then before I was able to get to Solas, the big quanari we had to fight kept regenerating himself making it almost impossible to beat.  After I was able to get to Solas, after several attempts fighting the big quanari and the game ended, the epilogue before the end credits were going way too fast to read.  I’m sorry but I cannot read 3 or 4 sentences in less than 5 seconds, which I timed and finally the game kept crashing on top of that.  There are way too many bugs and almost impossible to play.
