So my game seems to think Gaspard is on the thrown while Celene is the one I make ruler....

Same for me, though I found a codex entry about Celene and Briala (correct rulers in my game). I guess I was right in my prediction that rulers of Orlais and Ferelden wouldn't show. (But I didn't dare predict they wouldn't even be correct rulers!)

So it's telling everyone that they chose Gaspard? At least its a consistent bug.

Thank you all, I was worried it was only me.

 

I just assumed it happened for story reasons, and Gaspard managed to claim the throne behind the scenes. Even though I made them announce a public trio truce lol

There is a note by Duke Cyril which supposedly explains why the ruler isn't around. I got the dead emperor Gaspard glitch during my playthrough where I got Celene and Briala reconciled and the note said that Celene and Briala are too busy sleeping with each other to be at the meeting. Guess something went wrong.

Playing on PC and I am in the same situation as Kulyok and thesuperdarkone2, guess the bug is in the way the voice file is selected for that particular dialogue.

I think in the PT i played I had Celene rule alone, but got Gaspard in dialogue. I didn't check any notes or nothin'

I also got the same bug and I had Celene/Briala as finals for each other but Gaspard was apparently emperor. Also, they said I exiled the wardens which is false. I concur that this is a bug to do with the voice file or this particular conversation. Playing on PS4.

What did they say about exiling the Wardens? If you are talking about in Ferelden, he's talking about Sophia Dryden's rebellion causing the Warden's exile. I didn't exile them and Teagan said the Inquisition has Wardens in its ranks.

 

 

P.S. Teagan hating Wardens makes my HoF want to come and smack him.

Xbone, happened to me too. Had Celine and Briala together and Gaspard executed, but he's emperor somehow.

I got Briala, Celene, and Gaspard working together... but apparently Gaspard is sitting on the throne now. He must have played the Game well in those two years.

I have bugs with World State also ( Xbox One). I make a peace between Celene, Briala and Gaspard and I still get Gaspard as a Orlais ruler. Second things was import from DA:O. In DLC I found letter from Annora and Alistair to Teagen, that they are happy that they don't have to go to Orlais, while in my World State Alistair is dead and Anora rule alone.

Got the same on my PC playthrough: Celene and Briala rule together but the game said Gaspard was on the throne.

 

Looks like Bioware can add that to the list of bugs to fix with a patch (including the one where certain warrior abilities crash the game).
