Solas looks like rebellion/chaos. If Mythal joins Morrigan, then I see no reason for her to support Solas. Mythal is not just revenge.

"Mythal (mith-al) the Protector and the All-Mother, and goddess of love, is the patron of motherhood and justice and leads the pantheon with her male counterpart, Elgar'nan. Mythal was born of the sea. In most stories, Mythal rights wrongs while exercising motherly kindness. Other paint her as dark, vengeful. Pray to Mythal and she would smite your enemies, leaving them in agony."

Solas stated she was mother to them all and the best of them. Seems to me you are focusing only on the dark side. If she is mother to them all, she is now mother to a human child as well. She has lived with a human for ages. Flemeth had issues like Anders did. Morrigan doesn't have these issues. She is pretty practical. I can't see Morrigan wanting to destroy the world.

Uh, Mythal might be the Mother, but given Morrigan's everything, she was a pretty crappy one. Or at least, she's become a pretty crappy one in recent centuries. Even if we assume she's a spirit of justice/vengeance, or some embodiment of motherhood or something, she's clearly capable of being corrupted from those things. Otherwise Morrigan's upbringing would've been fine and dandy.

So, trying to appeal to Mythal's motherly status is a pretty weak argument.

Who cares if Flemeth was a terrible mother. She is dead. Solas is the one who stated Mythal was a mothering figure and the best of them.

The big question  is this does Mythal want Morrigan dead? I don't think so. I'm not calling Mythal the enemy just yet.

When Mythal was alive. She was killed. I can't imagine what that would do to someone's good will.

I don't think Mythal wants Morrigan dead, more likely to be her next vessel. But if Morrigan didn't drink from the well, I doubt Morrigan would accept such thing.

I already knew part of his plan, I knew he would want to bring back the ancient elves and for that the others would have to suffer. And I knew he gave the Orb to Corypheus in the hopes he would have died. All of his plans always end badly, he needed to be stopped and he will only stop when he dies.

My Inquisitor made a promise to him, he saved him anyway, now I hope BW allow us to fullfil that promise, to end his insanity with his death.

We are in full agreement.

I forgot about that thanks. In my game she drank from the well. Wishful thinking on my part.

...You do? You're the one who argued that Flemeth's going to oppose Solas just because she has children in this world, and you're the one who used her status as The Mother to prove that of course she would. So I provided an example of how she's not some perfect embodiment of motherhood.

And what does Mythal wanting Morrigan dead have anything to do with this? She's clearly not gunning to kill Morrigan - she would've just done it before the game's climax. I'm not even sure why you brought this up.

Screw you Solas. My Inquisitor actually respected you, weirdo. Can't wait for the DA4 so you get what's coming you.

I meant Morrigan/Flemeth/Mythal. Flemeth/Mythal wanted to offer her essence to her daughter. Someone thinks Mythal wants to help Solas destroy the world. I didn't think so because of her relationship with Flemeth which ties her to Morrigan.
