Hello,
I am trying to get out of the deep roads in the new dlc the trespasser, but I cannot find a way. I am at a location where there is an explosive barrel and some rocks (I imagine I have to blow it up) but I cannot detonate the barrel. I've been trying to find a way for over an hour, any help would be appreciated.

WOW that's weird I don't remember seeing those at all in the DLC. The only thing I had to do to advance was to keep finding gears to open doors and after defeating the final boss I just fast travelled to a camp to complete the other missions.

No this is the dlc that just came out today.
I think you just run away from that wall. There should be a path right there. Just fallow the icon on the mini map. But there is no way to blow that wall up. You are right near the exit though.
I've been all over the place... I can't figure this out, 
It gets really dark in there. Run towards all the walls. Maybe there is a dark passage you are missing cuz it looks like a wall?
maybe, I'm using the fade thing as a light though
Has anyone got past this? Maybe mark a path for me on the map? 
You definitely want to detonate that barrel which blows out the wall and allows you to continue. Try loading a save before you enter the Deep Roads and try working through the Dungeon again.
Fire or Lightning spells will detonate the barrel as well.
This is definitely a bug. Got stuck in this same spot. Barrel refuses to detonate. The symbol for interaction is above it, but my cursor does not change to the interact one.
hmm, glad I wasn't the only one who was having trouble.. but still.
It worked once I loaded a previous save, try that.
Got the same glitch. The only thing I did differently when I reloaded my save was that I didn't touch the door, I just hit the bombs immediately. So I think touching the door can cause the glitch.
I am also stuck at this same point, tried loading an old save and replaying and still does not let me blow up the mine. I submitted a report to origin, hopefully this will get fixed because it's bullshit that I can't continue on from this point!
I'm getting this same glitch. Really frustrating. The next older save I have is an hour ago, I really don't want to have to do the whole map again if it will only maybe work?
This happened to me and I had reload and do the whole map again, it worked that time. When you've done it once before the section is much quicker.
This is going to be a dumb question, but, here goes:
I purchased Descent soon after it's release.
You guys are saying a "new DLC".
Is there another Descent DLC or add-on I'm not aware of?
Don't worry! The Trespasser DLC has a section taking place in the deep roads, that's what people are talking about
it is much faster the second time, but I've done it several times and it wont work. I wonder if I can use a detonater on it . . .
Low your specs and reload a previous save
Happened to me as well. It's a bug and I ended up having to start over from a save before you encounter that group of enemies in that room.
I got this bug, turned the settings down to low, restarted from the autosave where you enter the mine, and it resolved the bug. A shame we had to lose like 30 minutes of play, but at least it worked.
