Give it a rating, 0-10. What are it's strengths? Weaknesses?
Basically, should I get it? I didn't get Hakkon or the Descent, and should I nab those as well? Or just wait for a dlc-bundle type thing, if there will be one.

Is there any use for ability points in the DLC?10/10. All the reasons to buy the dlc are spoilers, but I highly recommend. It's also essential to the plot of the next game. Ermagerd I'm going to go play it again.
8.5/10, worth it.
6 hours in - best of the DAI DLCs... so far
Is there any use for ability points in the DLC?
I'm sitting on a couple that I saved (since I'm at max level), but I still have to finish up Jaws and Descent, so I'd like to know if it's OK to spend them now.
Not that I'm aware of, I didn't really pay attention to that.

This isn't really a spoiler, just a mechanics detail.
But Trespasser apparently adds a second upgrade to every ability in the game, but I think it's mutually exclusive.
For example,
Ice Mine and Fire Mine now both have an upgrade that turns that ability into the same glyph ability enemies use where you toss out several in front of you as opposed to one targeted one.
So that might be relevant to your question.
It's very good - and I trashed Jaws of Hakkon. Which means, yeah, it's THAT better than Jaws of Hakkon.
It's not as dialogue-heavy as Citadel, it's bittersweet, and Inquisitor's fate is - well, you'll see. But it's very, very good.
So worth it.

Oh I thought that was part of patch 10, otherwise I'd have mentioned that. ![]()
10/10 I loved this DLC. I'm on pc and I only encountered one bug which was related to one of Cassandra's dialogues. I played it on normal difficulty and it took me a little under 7 hours to complete. Completely worth it ![]()

Yes, every upgrade now has an alternative. Even more useful, you can swap between upgrades at will giving more tactical diversity to the abilities.
So how difficult is it on nightmare, if anyone know? And how long did it take you to beat it? I'm still debating if I should get this or not, I skipped the other two but the trailer for this was interesting.
It took me about 8 hours to beat this on nightmare. I was playing an Artificer Archer, with Cassandra, Cole, and Vivienne. The enemies are tough, but I was already level 27 when I started this DLC. I think you should definitely buy this DLC, just to at least finish your inquisitor's story.
The dlc is totally worth it, in my opinion. I did enjoy Hakkon and Descent, but this one is, like others have said, 10/10, for all the spoilery reasons.
Took me about 6-7 hours on normal difficulty, trying to do all the stuff (and I know I left something).
Out of curiosity, how long is it? (so I can plan the rest of my week)
For me it took about 8 hours to complete. I'm not sure if I even did everything there is to do in it.
