So I decided I wanted to play Neverwinter Nights 2 again after all these years, but the dumb built in patcher for the game gives me an error that says, " The server name or address could not be resolved". So I downloaded the manual updater, and it wont patch anything past game version 1.11.1153. and it gives me an error saying, "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match." What does that mean and how do I fix it? Btw I have MotB installed as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I can't manually update NWN2 with the manual patcher by tnt220.

Are you using the NWN2 patcher by tnt220?
I reloaded NWN2 last night using the GoG version and it worked fine. So you could always go that route if you don't mind paying a little for the convenience.

You say you have the game and motb, perhaps you are trying to patch with a patch meant for the bare game?

Gosh I feel like an idiot. I just figured out that there was nothing wrong with the tnt220 patcher. The site I went to had corrupted patches or something, so I found the working patches at Atari.com/patches/nwn2, and everything is fine now. Sorry to bother you guys, and thanks for replying.
