...because they all literally end exactly the same way.

Divine Leliana has Vivienne literally remake the Circle to take advantage of the Inquisition's removal in order to start a mage civil war to destroy the College

Divine Cass has the mage civil war which her ending kind of implied

Divine Vivienne straight up allows the College to form anyway as thanks for helping the Inquisition. Retcons ahoy!

Guess we shouldn't be surprised that that situation is exactly the same. Now the argument is basically who you think looks best in the outfit.

I wonder why they even bother with import in da when pretty much almost all choices end either irrelevant or pretty much on the same outcome.

It would be better to go with just canon instead keep making decisions end the same way where it looks just ridiculous.

But what if we don't recruit Vivienne and put Leliana on the throne?

What if you've made Leliana Divine and never recruited Vivienne?

Edit: Ninja'd.

Wouldn't there be a difference on angelic Leliana and shadowy Leliana? I got Vivienne and was kinda surprised.

Currently, there aren't many Divine Leliana endings up yet. Will see if there are any differences between softened and hardened Divine Leliana.

Wow, that's kind of... awful. Seriously, why does Bioware go on and on about choices and consequences if it never going to amount to anything?

In your epilogue what happened to Divine Leliana? And did Cassandra stay in the Exalted Council?

Not my epilogue. Still playing through the dlc trying to get all schematics available. In short, yes Cass stays on the Exalted Council if Leliana is Divine. Cass doesn't always agree with what Leliana does but they share a mutual respect for each other and work well together.

Also, it says that Leliana continued to make reforms allowing non-humans and males to become priests, and makes the Canticle of Shartan an official part of the Chant again. This resulted in a rebellion trying to overthrew her. She survived several assassination attempts and used them as proof that what she is doing is the Maker's work. If romanced, Leliana openly has a relationship with the HoF and makes a reform allowing priests to have relationships.

Are there any differences in slides depending on the templar/mage decision?

That I don't know considering it seems practically everyone chose mages, but considering Boost who loves templars also got the "Divine Vivienne creates the College" ending, it doesn't matter who you sided with.

Nope.
Templars are ignored and there always a Circle and a College of Enchanters.

That was what I was expecting.

That's was my biggest grievance with the DLC. No real mention at all if you did COTJ.

I guess Divine Cassandra, Grand Enchanter Vivienne and the templars just let those mages go ahead and make themselves independant again. And Divine Leliana is ok with Vivienne making a new civil war. I guess inaction is the order of the day.

Sigh, well I guess devs still really want to have Circle mages around. They must be planning something, otherwise it wouldn't matter how to call mages institution. Are there Circle mages in Tevinter?

At least everyone gets shafted rather than one ending being preferred above all others.

Leliana is still the best outcome for Divine regardless of the shafting. She restores the Canticle of Shartan and opens the priesthood to all races and sexes. No other Divine does this. What's more, Cassandra will only be part of the Exalted Council if Leliana is Divine. She leaves the Council and the Chantry if Vivienne is a part of it.

Don't see why not recruiting her would matter. She doesn't die, lose her position at court, change her opionion on the Circles or lose her support among mages who didn't want to rebel if she doesn't join the Inquisition. She just has to make it happen without Inquisition resources.
