That would be Jack. She was abducted as a kid, and knowing how Cerberus rolls her parents were probably murdered, and then raised in an abusive enviroment where she was forced to hurt other kids. She's also a rape victim.

I'd like to see a unique NPC. Maybe a guy who is not a military man, but a normal clerk whose life changed after he was betrayed by his psychopath friend, lost his girlfriend to a Turian diplomat, a sole survivor of the Reaper death camp, family tortured to death, a hell of a character like Zaeed Massani and Javik but much more renegade and doesn't care about dying, a morbid character like Vlad The Impaler.
