Q> Is there a way to reset the Golden Nug so that all the collectibles collected start from a fresh?
I still want to use it for future playthroughs but dont want all the schematics etc that i ahve now. Ie need a clean slate with the nug.
Thank you.

Nope. No way to reset it. Everything you sync with the nug is saved to your Origin account.
damn, f**k, blast and bu**er it. That's what i thought. TY
@Bioware Please give us the option to unsync the nug for vanilla playthough.

This would be unlikely.
Just don't use it in your next playthrough? Problem solved!
LOL yup there is always that option
Just would like to start over is all. Oh well no blood shed.
IMO, the Golden Nug is entirely too powerful in Haven. T4 schematics? When you are almost literally starting from scratch?
The ability to simply pick and choose here would likely have been better.

You have the ability to pick & choose by crafting T1 items in Haven, regardless of available schematics. It's a single-player game anyhow - no one is harmed by "OP" characters even if you can't resist temptation.
If you ask Oghren, you could always eat the nug...
Keep in mind that T4 schematics aren't as powerful when you are limited to T1-T2 mats in the beginning of the game, as well as no masterwork slot. While they are better, they aren't late game better.

Ah but that's a simple and easy solution. Op wants one that's hard to create.
I swear to the gods.
Don't click the damn Nug. They actually respected people's desire for a clean playthrough. Don't. Click. The. Nug. What the hell more do people want?
This.
Though personally, I feel like a "vanilla" playthough is something only a crazy person would want at this point.
Does it sync the schematics obtained using perks?

... but it is there and it can clicked. Right?
The game is rated MA. that means only adults should play it. Adults, you know? Who should be able to exercise the self-control necessary to not use an option available to them if they really don't want to.
You already can start afresh. Just have a play-through where you never touch the nug. One of mine is like that - he touched the nug to upload his catches, then left without saving so that when I loaded he wouldn't have any of the schematics he picked up from it.
This.

We are talking about a person not only playing DAI more than once, but intentionally unlocking already unlocked items. That sounds like compulsive behaviour, in which case not clicking on stuff may be a problem. The game is rated MA. that means only adults should play it. Adults, you know? If you really want to avoid the temptation, I would have thought logging in to the game on another EA Account would have worked. I'm guessing owners of digital copies on the PC wouldn't have that option, but if you have a physical copy of the PC version of the game I would have thought it would work (I could be wrong, since I don't play the game on PC). Should work on consoles no problem, though you would have to share/remake your DAKeep files on the new EA Account.
NB: this is a completely untested hypothesis.
Cool. Apparently I'm crazy. Yay me.
Wait... my Inquisitor married Sera... yep definitely crazy now.
My kinda crazy!
Dont click on the Nug.
Huzzah for the new meme!
