I thought the ending would leave me unhappy but nooope...I was wrong.

I wanted my Lavellan to get away from the Inquisition and go back to being a forest hobbo .Then I learned about the arm and I started hyperventilation mode.

When I first heard about Inquisition , I wanted it to be a cool secret order.Obviously it didn't happen.

But being able to end up in the Red Jennies with a badass crossbow arm (my Dalish was an archer) ,maybe helping city elves along the way or just having a laugh ...it beats the Dalish.

My Dalish also sometimes appears in Minrathous , because he's seeing Dorian in secret.(probably killing magisters hand in hand , maybe helping some slaves ...who knows!)

+ Creating a secret order to fight Solas...

It's like my Dalish ended up a counterpath to Fen Harel (at least in my headcanon ) an elf now fighting in the shadows helping the powerless .Except one elf is working to save this world and another is bend on destroying it.

They showed to me that they've grown. They've listened and applied complains, doing that improved themselves.

Trespasser was very well constructed, to beginning to the end.

I chose to let my Solamancer pursue him but to change his mind, she wouldn't kill him. Which... I'll be honest - I play as a very pro elf character. Anyway - I disbanded in the "nice" way. I'm happy. I really cannot imagine a better ending but wow I see some stuff on here...
I am just happy my first choices didn't end with her dying. God it was good.
No one died. No one betrayed me. I guess I didn't really f up too bad from my goal ending. Huzzah

The Red Jenny slide can just be a tease for what may be canonized anyway.

Considering some other recent material (lyrium shooters? lol), Warrior/Mage/Rogue could just be different forms of an otherwise same weapon we see the Inquisitor have in DA4. May not have the Mark anymore, but the mark on their body can still have its own sort of utility ;).

It was a very satisfying ending: just the right blend of plot revelations, character moments, closure, and cliff-hangers about future developments.

This was by far the best DLC i have played, a perfect crowning and ending to Inquisition. Meeting the gang after 2 years was honestly like reuniting with real friends. Not to mention how the romance relations where handled. Humour, character development and plot was bang on. Tho i must say i did laugh my ass off when i saw Solas, dressed in his latex skin tight pants. Lady Gaga has nothing on his Poker Face.

Agreed. Only complaint, it was a little more gameplay than I liked and it got a little bit tedious, but this was definitely the kind of quest that the main game needed more of.

Really enjoyed the ending and disbanding the Inquisition is the only option imo, but I would've liked a playable death scene of the Inquisitor like in Halo: Reach. With an option to end this way, it would've been perfect. Imagine a hypothetical DA IV where you travel the Crossroads and come across an area with a ring of big skeletons (Qunari) and in the middle a skeleton of your Inquisitors race with a missing left arm - epic.

Id much rather be missing an arm than missing my whole Quizzy! I swear I thought she was going to die there for a sec and I was soooooooo scared,.

Yep. That was really well feckin' done. I enjoyed the hell out of it. (I even recorded it for my Youtube channel, so my Quiz will have a record.) Pretty sure I missed most of the schematics in the mindset of get'er done, though. <_< Next playthrough, I'll take my time.

That epic music.

This DLC tempts me to start another (or few) playthroughs to see the different possibilities.  I also started this DLC from a save which didn't include Hakkon or Descent.  I wondered in the deep roads if there would be dialogue requiring Descent completion?

Great story, really enjoyed it!  I'll echo that I thought it put a satisfying "end" to the Inquisitor's story.

But.. it hasn't really ended has it?

So next game ; in Tevinter within short-ish time frame?  Or maybe time skip into a new age a hundred or many more years later later with some subtle (or not so subtle) import properties?

Looking forward to it!  (No greenlight? ya, ok  )

Agreed, would have been nice to see an ending like that in ME3 instead of 3 colors of stupid.

Actually I kinda agree. Especially at the end I felt really tired of combat and just wanted to get on with the plot.

The last section where you battle your way through Qunari to different mirrors I just went "f this man" and ran past all the Qunari between each mirror until I reached Sarebaas.

I just finished.

I can't say I'm happy about the outcome, but nonetheless this was a good ending. It made sense, it was well orchestrated, many important questions were answered, and my protagonist survived. So, in spite of getting basically nothing of what I'd have preferred - keeping the mark, first and foremost, and continuance of the Inquisition as an independent organization - I'm actually satisfied, even if not exactly happy. Disbanding the Inquisition was, oddly enough, the right choice for my Inquisitor who had dreams of empire. Autonomy was always more important to her than power, as exemplified by her decision at the Well. So that, too, was ok.

I also like the setup with Solas as the next antagonist. The thing is, I understand him, and so this will the kind of enmity that isn't based on some wilful evil, but the kind that seems fated to be because the characters involved are who they are and stay true to themselves.

One does wonder if we get to play the ex-Inquisitor again. From the ending it appears like that could happen - they'd have to do something about being one-handed in that case. I would prefer a new one, but wouldn't mind continuance as well. As long as things play in Tevinter, which seems almost certain now.

I was very skeptical that things could be wrapped up in one dlc, but I was wrong! All concluded quite nicely, especially with my Trevelyan and Cullen (seriously, couldn't have asked for more on that front). I was surprised by the arm, but in the end it made sense. I thought she was going to die so I guess...cutting it off is for the best.

Anyway I blazed through this in several hours yesterday, so I think I'm going to replay it now at a slower pace to really soak it all in. It was great! Loved the new powers we kept getting as the Anchor started acting up, too. Those were rad.

Yep. First thing i want my Inquisitor to is do: figure out interdemensional travel, hop across and steal snake's arm. Rocket puunch!!! Yes, it really is that amusing to me.

I truly loved the DLC. Seeing all the companions was awesome. I was very sad with Solas and the way the Inquisition ended, but I understand that the Inquisition's time is over. It is now time to save Solas. It really feels like we got some closure. I'm glad we got to say goodbye to our beloved companions and that they are going on their own paths. The ending was kinda bittersweet, but I absolutely loved it and it definitely formed an interesting story for DA4.

I'm going to miss Dorian. He was my Quizzy's best bud and funny as hell. xD But hey if we're going to Tevinter next maybe they'll see each other again.

I was ... surprised. The ending was really good. I liked it. I was NOT angry about the missing skyhold. I even think it was ok to take my Inquisitors hand. Really wonderful, great DLC. Worth every €uro. THANKS!

But: I'm very sorry for all the Solas romance-people who are sad. :(

The only problem for me: I would like a possibility to choice what happen to this "missing forearm-thing" of my Lady- Inquisitor, AFTER the ending. I made so mutch to have a Inquisitor thats looks like I WANT, and so I still want to decide THIS part of the game. For me it's important.

I don't want an invalid as character.

Wrote a Thread about this. I think we should not chance something at the end. It's a great ending. But we could ask for a little cosmetic AFTER-ENDING patch: http://forum.bioware...ioware-spoiler/

PS:  ;)  It was not long enough. :D  AND I WANT MORE!! :D

Give us a nother DLC, Hey Bioware, here take all my money. TAKE IT!
