I was pleased with the ending.  The Inquisition got put to bed the way I thought it should be, and, as a bonus, the Anchor is gone(though I suspect it will still kill the Inquisitor, if Solas is to be believed).

I was particularly pleased with all the answers we received.

At the end of the base game, I was apathetic about the future of the franchise.  This DLC rekindled some of my enjoyment of the setting, and while I'm not bouncing up and down about the prospect of a fourth, I will be happy to see it should it arrive.

It's almost a pity this type of game is built in the hack and slash RPG genre.  It might have been interesting to play the Inquisitor again, as a planner and director rather than a front line fighter.

I'm going to miss Dorian. He was my Quizzy's best bud and funny as hell. xD But hey if we're going to Tevinter next maybe they'll see each other again.

I know me too! I loved Dorian. He was one of the best characters. :)

I liked the ending. Unlike a certain other game, it showed frakking up the world in order to "save" it to be a bad thing.

The Anchor was permanently attached to his hand but was in danger of spreading by becoming unstable. I'm pretty sure that the removal of the Inquisitor's hand effectively prevented the magic from spreading any further once Solas restrained it. Given how bad it'd become, it's safe to say that if he hadn't removed his hand, the Inquisitor would've died already.

Thank You, Bioware, for creating Inquisition and its DLCs. Thank you again for Trespasser.

I love it when stories are about people rather than just events...

I loved the fate of my Inquisitor and her Organisation. I loved how she just yelled at people.

And who needs happy Endings anyway?

It has been a great Time.

You can agree with Solas if you're an elf...

Totally agree with the OP. This was the ending I wanted waaaaayyyy back last December when I finished the game in like a week and felt bereft at the end. I know there's a lot of analytical criticism going around with valid reasons for not liking it, but for me personally it was the emotional closure that I really needed (especially with Josephine. I was NOT disappointed with Josephine's part in this DLC, this was definitely her time to shine). I wish it had been shipped with the original game as the real ending, it feels like a shame that some people won't get to play it because they either gave up on DA:I or can't afford it.

My only complaint with the dlc is that I was hoping for more companion interaction.

But other than that I loved it.

You can agree with Solas, period (non-elf).

What Inquisitor will always disagree with him on (in DAI at least) is the method.

It may not be as much the narrative default, but the Inquisitor can be portrayed in a way that has them not really see the problem, and in fact see many benefits to the realms coexisting.
