Though unfortunate that there were problems with the Cerberus network off the get go, I would like to say thank you to the employees of both Bioware and EA who attempted to gather information and fixed the majority of the problems within twenty four hours of release.
Heh, if you can complain, you can give compliments too.
Thank you BioWare & EA

My problem is still alive and well. Sound stuttering and popping constantly rendering the game unplayable. I have a monster rig with all the updated drivers for the hardware. Everything else i try and play works great. Please address this problem, as I am not the only one experiencing it.

Very true. I second this.

I get Program not responding after clicking continue or cancel at the Cerberus Network part. Tried calling EA support and compared to your experience my experince with them was not good. They were downright hostile and rude and did not speak english very well and they got totally more hostile when I informed them was hearing-impaired and asked them to clarify things for me.
I have Windows 7 and system is near recommened specs, heck can run Halo without any problems. Even ran Mass Effect 1 without any problems. Mass Effect 2 seems to be problem ridden. I would like to play the game but cannot do so due to Cerberus Network part causing game to freeze up and then get a program not responding error message.
Downloaded Mass Effect 2 from Direct 2 Drive and they have a no refund policy so am out of $60 in this recession era economy. Sad to say if this is the new track record of Bioware, will most likely not bother buying that upcomming MMO The Old Republic.

I'm still having issues with the Cerberus Network and activating/authenticating my DLC, but as long as I can play the game, I'm HAPPYwith it so far. It is a game of EPIC greatness. Just wish I could use Zaeed and my other goodies. lol
