Last night..POIFEKT example..I dropped into a GIP on Wave 2...I see 3 skulls...this is against Rippaz / Vancouver.. I decided...WTH..and started taking down the wave...destroyed every thing..Wave 3 starts...downstairs hack..they all die within 20 seconds of the wave starting...no gels / no reviving each other...I decided I was wrong...so I bailed...

You do not get the right to send me hate mail calling me a quitter after giving you a second chance at a game that should have already failed...

Meh, eventually you will become jaded to the whole process.

I don't play much anymore, but when I do I can't claim to care too much how good my teammates are. The only exception to this is with hacks & escorts, pugz pls, do the objectives. The worst that can happen? The match wipes, and there's easily a next one whenever you want ..

Now where is Mr Wu when you need him?

I guess I should chill out and not get so worked up over it and accept the fact that there will be wipes from time to time. Just been a few more the past couple of days than normal. I definitely wasn't trying to troll with this topic, just drunk and frustrated last night. I enjoy this game immensely and should not get upset. Like it has been stated a million times on here, just wish more people had a basic understanding of the mechanics of the game. When I first started playing MP full-time, I came here for tons of advice. That along with plenty of info from friends has helped me become a competent player (I think). But I probably played 2 months before I dipped my toe in the waters of a gold. The problem my friends and I agree we have found is too many Destiny/COD noobs who think this game operates in the same fashion. Doesn't work that way. The abilities and combos are what sets this game apart and it is what I love about it and why I will continue to play.

Guzzling as much gatorade as I can stand before I pass out usually does the trick. Just have to remember. If you do remember though, the next day is a breeze.

The rough science/why of it, is that gatorade was originally designed as a formula to increase water intake in athletes. The potassium increases the absorption rate of water in your intestinal tract.

Hangovers, mostly (not completely) are due to the diuretic nature of alcohol. You're not necessarily getting a "hangover" from the alcohol itself, more so what the alcohol does to your system. Which is to deprive it of water. The one counteracts the other quite well I find.

In a pinch, water from the bathroom tap of that chick's place you're clearly crashing at that night works as well. Particularly if you have to get out early the next morning for, you know. Reasons...

I renounce all terrible things I said about PUGs. Just finished two separate gold lobbies and both went swimmingly. Havoc in the 1st and one my faves the QFE in the 2nd. Topped 100k in both, objectives went smoothly, and minimal use of medis. All is good in the galaxy and my faith in the resiliency of PUGs has been restored.

I'm here to testify that the OP doesn't need to "get gud".

He is plenty gud. He just got frustrated...like we all do...or at least I do, at least as often as OP.

Me, on the other hand...I need to get gud. Think I'll go practice now.

I once mixed Vodka and Gatorade, but no one told me that I was supposed to use the smaller sized bottles.  I woke up the next morning not knowing where I was for about 5 minutes, just feeling cold from being half naked in the wind.  When my vision cleared up, I realized I was at my old High School's track.  I had been running 40 sec 400 m splits in my sleep.  Thanks, Gatorade!

The weirdest part was that I was still running as I woke up (no wonder it felt windy).  Due to playing so much ME MP, I ended up taking cover accidentally behind every hurdle, sandbag, goalpost, etc on the way to the finish line, where I proceeded to kneel down and spin clockwise to disable the device (if you spin clockwise, it makes the timer go faster.  Counterclockwise makes it go more slowly.  Solo tip).

If you play PUGs without preparing to carry (if you can) or to be carried (if you suck), you're doing it wrong.

This is what I don't like about this game. I don't want to carry or be carried, I want a team-effort, wipe or succeed, as long as everybody tries (And does the fking objectives), then I'm fine with it.

My god though, PUGs need to learn to do objectives, I've had very few pug games (Probably countable on one hand) in my 800hrs where all 4 people participated in objectives. And sadly, those games were all on Bronze... where the people with 100k+ CP seem to hang out (I am not joking, so many high CP players on Bronze)

I seem to be one of the few people with overwhelmingly positive feedback from pug lands.

Seriously, most of my pugs help with objectives. They make team effort(sometimes too much of it, actually... like reviving me in front of primed phantom), sometimes they even detonate my setups...

Seriously, I like my pugs. They actually put a lot of thought and effort into their games and my games are better because of it. Sure, there are still times where I'll have to carry a bunch of people who obviously have no place in Gold(hell, sometimes not even in Silver) and my BSN tutelage is showing, since I'm often head and shoulders above people who are obviously out of their depth, but in general... the people I'm playing with(who are not BSners, obviously) generally seem to know what they are doing. I am continuously flabbergasted by horror stories by the rest of you people.

I believe you're totally correct, but like many other things in life, what sticks out in people's minds is not when things go as they should, but when a s***show occurs, that's what we remember. 90-95% I extract when PUGGGING, but I tend to remember those few games my team wipes. It just seems to come in streaks on ps3. I will get good lobbies for several days, and then they turn to s*** for a day or two, and then back to good again.

This is probably also true. It really does stick in your mind when one (or two) players are constantly dead, and getting people killed trying to save them, only to not help with objectives when they are alive. However, when the game goes smoothly, you tend to forget about it shortly after, but the bad games haunt you, you wonder what you could do differently, and the dwelling makes it stick in your mind. For some people (Like myself) venting helps, my wife has to hear about bad PUGs a lot... usually whilst I have my mic muted so I can swear at them as much as I like. And she usually agrees, she plays Bronze a lot, and hates people not contributing even more than I do.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Especially my wife. I married her because of her fiery side. It compliments my disgruntled meekness well. I especially like it when she uses the mic to tell them off :D

....For some reason, people listen to an angry woman. (And argue with men and immediately want to get into a pissing contest).

Not me.  I either lol or tune them out, depending on their location
