As many of you know, the final choice in Trespasser and in DA:I is whether or not you're going to disband the Inquisition. While the decision is fundamentally choosing whether or not to disband, there are 3 options for both that vary a bit.

I'm genuinely curious as to which you guys chose, for both the decision on disbanding as well as which specific dialogue.

I picked to disband the Inquisition (aggressive dialogue version) because I think it's better to have a small force without any corruption or leaks in it. I like to think of it as choosing to use a slow arrow to stop Solas rather than a big sword.

Also, the speech is hella awesome: "Excuse me while I go save the world. Again."

I chose to keep the Inquisition under the Divine. Used the agressive dialogue.
No way my Marcher Inquisitor was going to bend to a Dog Lord or to an Orlesian, specially because he worked hard to build the Inquisition.
Solas needs to be stopped, at any cost. A army is better than a few agents to do that.

I had them become Vicky's personal army.

Solas can apparently crush anyone or anything, and the Inquisition already accomplished it's objective, it's time slow down and do things by Quizzy and his friends themselves.

I don't have the DLC, but I'd be okay with keeping the Inquisition as the Divine Leliana's personal army or an ally of Gaspard. I love Ferelden but Teagan can kiss my ass.

Disband (angry) and try to save our friend from himself.

Yeah, during the entire DLC Teagan was a pain, I was waiting and hoping that I'd get a chance to punch him.

I made them Cassandra's personal army. My headcanon says there will be spies in the organization either way so I went with chantry support. Should help whenever they get into trouble.

Yeah going to go with this one the inquisitor's response to the council is gold. Its what I wanted to say to them from the start next run through picking the angry disband.

Oh and I am going to prove solas wrong and try to save him from making a terrible mistake.

It just feels like the right choice. I couldn't stand seeing her sad or diplomatic to those backstabbers! She gave them the metaphorical finger and went off to help a friend in need with those she trusted. It seems if you don't disband, you will get lots of corruption. She doesn't need that.

I honestly don't see anyone stopping Solas with brute force. What chance one haves against someone that turns an living being into stone with the power of the mind? It's no wonder the elven gods were called, well, gods. Their power is far beyond the average mage.

I haven't played yet, but from the streams I saw, I would go with disbanding the Inquisition and trying to redeem Solas. Maybe there is still a chance for him. I saw a lot of Loghain when I saw Solas in this DLC. Someone that still haves good deep down, even if they are on a destructive path.

I saw that too. I always redeem Loghain. Probably why I am strongly believing he can be saved, but not through force. He needs to be shown another way without hostility. He liked you because you made him see people differently and just outright attacking him is not the answer. If we plan to kill him though and were rivals, then I think an army will be needed.

Disbanded them with the aggressive option. Also kept them in another playthrough with the aggressive option. Having Cass as Divine made it even more delish.

Disband.

To be honest , I got tired of the Inquisition and having to deal with stuff like the council was the final nail in the coffin.

If you don't disband you have to pledge yourself to public services such as protecting the Chantry.

Well I'd rather disband , let the Chantry have their templars etc back while I'm busy hunting Solas in secret with Divine Cassandra and co.

Now my Inquisitor is part of a new secret order!

I hope they find a cool name.

I always chop Loghain's head off, but Solas is a bit out of the league of these puny mortals, so that does provide some incentive to try to reason with him instead.

And if you don't, he ironically saves the wardens in Inquisition. To me, it doesn't matter, for I would still try to talk Solas out of it even if he was weaker then me.

Kept it with the aggressive option because I'm an *******. They dragged quizzy through this whole slew of bullshit while her hand was trying to kill her and the qunari were invading. I'm keeping that **** out of spite now bitches.

I went with the peaceful easy solution of supporting Leliana... sorry, Divine Victoria. We basically become the peacekeepers for her. I also told Solas I'd like to change his mind, and he said he hoped he would be wrong again. Which was pretty effin' cool imo. Then, Quizzy says at the end that we're gonna try to save him from himself. I really enjoyed it. So warm fuzzies.

Yeah, I always kill Loghain too. I actually like Solas, so I want to prove him wrong like he wants.

That's fine, though Loghain and Hawke only lead you to them and someone else does the actual saving. But as for Solas, he is kind of a liability. Because my Inquisitor is his friend, I'd try to reason with him, but that friendship is fairly fragile against the stakes involved, and I fully oppose trying to restore the world of the ancient elves. I say let them stay dead and buried. I would kill him a million times to keep it that way.

I felt going back to your roots was fitting but at the same time I felt bad for all of Josephine's hard work holding the fort.

My Quizzy was hurt, betrayed, and in shock. Her best friend is going to Tevinter. She found her love only to have him revel the awful truth, and then leave her again. She lost an arm.

Dang right she chose the angry disband. She's sick of the Inquisition, sick of the politics, and she just wants to try and reason with Solas. I loved this option.
