I disbanded with the sad option. My Lavellan was just too depressed after finding out her boyfriend wanted to destroy the world and wouldn't even let her help. She's pretty much given up on life at this point.

Angry keep the Inquisition. Probably gonna need an army once Solas starts whatever it is exactly he's doing. Plus, he thinks it's impossible for it to not be corrupt, so I may as well prove him wrong on that whilst proving him wrong about the whole destroying the world thing.

I still haven't decided on anything. I have reloaded several times.

On one hand (lel), I want to disband the Inquisition. They done what they set out to do, really. Inquisitions are usually destined to fail after they have achieved their goal. Or split up into two groups which led to a war and founding of Inquisition 2.0.

On other hand, oh there is just this ancient deity Fenharelbutnotfenharelbutstillfenharel trying to tear down the veil and burn the world to the ground, like whatever. The Inquisition HAS the military and whatnot to deal with it. You just can't let that kind of force go to waste. But then again you'd have to deal with Ferelden/Orlesian politics and who has time for that.

If I were the Inquisitor, I would just say "To hell with this.", donate my army, stuff and even Skyhold to a new organization who is willing to deal with the Solas threat but won't bow down to Orlesian waffle loving Frenchmen, punch a bartender, grab a drink, retire on an island somewhere and have someone else fix that mess. All of my Inquisitors are just tired of the whole ordeal.

Diplomatic keep the Inquisition under Divine Victoria. My Trevelyan considered Cassandra one of her dearest friends and will do nearly anything to keep her safe. She would consider this especially necessary in light of what Solas said he would be doing. She also wants to prove Solas wrong.

The inquisition brought so much bad for me.

Blackwall-lied and joined the inquisition pretending to be someone else

Iron Bull-Told him to stay loyal in favor of an alliance, alliance was broken and he betrayed me.

Solas-Is Fen'haral

The Anchor that game me my title-cut off arm

Spies. Everyone has spies. Even the good parts suck.

Fall in love (Cass)-she becomes divine

Save Hawke-He leaves.

Vivienne-May bring mages to civil war

I couldn't trust it as an organization. Less people means it's easier to keep tabs on everyone in it.
Also, the main goal is to save Solas, I don't want to kill him necessarily.

no unleash an inquisition worthy of the name option?  So purge, purge them all! Gaspard?  Gut him, slowly, healing him with magic over the course of a week, then on, to all other rivals.

Taking Dorian is great. The other two say their goodbyes but Dorian just mentions how much you're going to miss him when he's gone.

If you romanced him, you can tell him you love him and he sounds so utterly heartbroken in his reply. The feels!  :crying:

First time through I went with serving the Divine ("we need more oversight"), but now I'm not sure if a smaller, unofficial group with more trusted allies wouldn't be better. I don't know yet, but it's not as though I don't have plenty of time to decide. ;)

Became Victorias personal guard, I'm not disbanding anything until Solas is dead. He's smart, he would likely get his spies in anyway so just stay in force I guess.

I chose to integrate into Divine Victoria's personal guard. It was the best option, IMO. The threat posed by the Qunari and by Fen'Harel is simply too great to up and disband the best force in the known world for combating it.

At the same time, the Council was not wrong. In peacetime, even peacetime with the looming threat of an Elven God, the Inquisition cannot be allow that much power, else it becomes a tyrannical force, whether it wants to be or not.

I also chose to tell Solas that if I lived, I would do everything I could to stop him.

He's simply... wrong. Even if Solas is a good person, his plans are as twisted and evil as those of Corypheus. Hell, his plans are pretty much the exact same as Corypheus, but without the personal aspirations to Godhood. He wants to tear open the Veil, burn this world and all those in it in the ensuing chaos, and try to rebuild a world that fell long ago. Sound familiar?

(video)

"Few knew what debates were waged in Par Vollen, but not long after the Exalted Council, the Qunari launched new attacks against Tevinter [...] Whispers in Val Royeaux suggested that the Qunari had asked Divine Victoria to assist them. None yet knew her answer."

The nerve of these mother****ers.

Angry keep inquisition option. My Tal-Vashoth mage inquisitor didn`t fight all the way through all this mess and hell, saving the world from itself, to let down all those who fought beside her in the end, just because some nobles, who are likely to start another war soon, decided it`s time for her to go. I really think this world Needs peacekeeping organisation after all. Back in Haven i really didn`t want all this inquisition crap, but after i saw what Corypheus did whith this beautifull and crazy world (during mages quest) i figured out i can do it better anyway =) And protect mages, cause after Morrigan leaving me, Andreas betraying me, you know i have warm feelings for mages in dragon age =)) Two things i regret though.
First i really wanted to ally whith Qunari, return my Vashoth to the Qun, and kick Orlais, Ferelden, and of course Solas ass, along with Iron bull on my side, no matter what he thinks about this, world would be a much better place under the Qun.
Second i regret i even talked to Vivien, i never used her (inq is KE), i hated her all the way, and no matter how great was my first ending (lelliana soften divine, ally mages) she still did it all her wrong way in Trespasser, stupid circle psycho. I wonder if u never ally with her, would she simply vanish?

Anyone notice that when you disband some random goes "noooooo" lol. And when you go with the angry we're not disbanding option, someone goes "terrific!' or something like when the screen cuts to black. **** really made me question my decision, leaning toward angrily disbanding (I actually chose the amiable option to throw people off the trail of the secret Inquisition) but I don't want to let that random guy down.

What I'm certain about, however, is killing Solas. I say that as someone who actually liked the little jerk and had a quiz who befriended him.

Angry disband option. It was literally a spur of the moment decision, I hadn't even considered it, but after talking to Solas it looked like the most logical option. Besides, placing the Inquisition under the Divine (even one as reforming as Leliana) when my Lavellan had been anti-Chantry the whole game through seemed too inconsistent.

Apparently my Inquisitor will be going after Solas to save him from himself (also, Solas, wtf? genocide? after preaching me sleepy for all those hours in the wilderness?)

I can't believe I missed the goodbye scene people mention :(

It's only the party you bring with you. When you go into the crossroads for the last time, there is an open world dialogue where everyone in the party says goodbye (everyone seems to be thinking the Inquisitor is going to die, including the Inquisitor).

The stream I watched sadly didn't have that, or I missed it somehow. It felt like a glaring lack, one that I sort of expected given the heavily one-sided nature of PC/NPC interactions ... but I'm glad my cycnicism was wrong in this case. I hope there will be a video or screenshots up of this somewhere soon.

Looks like others missed the goodbyes, too.

Does the Inquisitor say something other than, "save our friend from himself"? That's the only one I've seen so far, though I imagine it's different if you explicitly chose anti/rivalry options with Solas.

The wording of the choice seemed a bit tricky to me, as well. By" efforts against Solas", does it mean efforts to bring him down? Or just efforts to find him? I chose to serve Divine Victoria solely to have stronger efforts to find him, which is all my Lavellan cares about at this point. She wants to do everything to save him, even with an increased risk of corruption among the ranks.

This is the reason why I chose the angry disband. This DLC and solas words showed me that the inquisition can't beat him if it remains as it is even being the divine's honor guard. As the inquisitor said its not about organizations its about "people" doing what is necessary. More than anything my Adaar believes in people more than anything. So I will buckle down because honestly solas can play anyone like a fiddle I mean he bought down a civilization with uber elven mages and had spies among the inquisition.

The Inquisitor can say "Wel will stop Solas, by any means necessary", if you chose the other option.

I disbanded my Inquisition peacefully. I played my Inquisitor like, "The Inquisition was formed to stop the Breach. We did that. Our job is done. It's time to go home."

But something tells me that when the world starts to fall apart again both Orlais and Ferelden will whine, "But we neeeeeeeeeed you!"

Yeah, well get someone else, chumps. I'm gonna spend the rest of my days with my Tevinter studmuffin and try to redeem someone who was once a friend.

Besides, I've seen what passes for gratitude from y'all.

I disbanded the first time, because I didn't want to serve under Vivienne, In my next playtroughs, where I'll have Leliana and Cassandra as divine I am going to keep it.

I chose to disband the Inquisition with the Angry option. My Trev was friends with Solas... and it seemed like he truly wants to be proved wrong. I felt his guilt was eating at him, and he really feels like he has no other choice but to destroy the world as we know it. It's a horribad plan, and needs to be stopped. But deep down, I know he's a good person and has a good heart. I don't understand WHY he doesn't have enough proof already, but if he stopped in Trespasser that's not good for drama, I guess :P

He reminded me a lot of Archer from Fate/Stay Night UBW. Don't ask... just got the same feeling from him, too.

'Saving our friend from himself.' really struck me. My Lavellan is probably going to end up doing the same thing... gonna save her stubborn Egghead from himself.

Diplomatic, becoming Honor Guard. Loved the smile on Divine Cass's face when I repeated her line from the prologue.
