I already liked the base game well enough, but Trespasser completely surpassed my expectations.
Well done, Bioware.
I agree.
It was an enjoyable experience and raised the games stock imo. With the additions provided by the DLCs and the numerous gameplay changes and fixes that have come about from the patches, this game has officially reached replayable status in my eyes {just being honest].
I really enjoyed the DLC as well because the ending was a well done ending, relative to the vanilla game, and a satisfying one. It ties it all together. I also love the addition of more mark powers because it was on pace with the story of the DLC.
Same feeling here. I absolutely love Trespasser at every level.
Visually for the maps. Story wise for the lore + the interactions with the companions (ah, the emotions!)
And I especially enjoyed the soundtrack as well as the voice acting. Maybe it's because I pretty much spoiled myself the main game long before I could play it and discovered the DLCs fresh and unknowing ; but I feel like our Inq's voice acting is getting better and better each time (yay Mr. Hadden-Paton!)
I love it all. The sad tones, the dorky laugh, everything.
(and I am sad we won't hear more of it, Trespasser being the last DLC)
Well now ive played the last DLC? sigh, i was not impressed with this last dlc at all tbh, there was some "touching" moments i guess but overall i was left completely an utterly bored
Just personal opinion an im glad most others by looks of it enjoyed it ![]()
I did not really like the base game aside from certain parts, but I agree. This DLC blew me away ![]()

Good to hear. This dlc must be excellent, if someone like you loved it. Oh god. I'm dying now. I can't wait to play it!

IMO it's one of BioWare's best. I leave for Disney World today on a really long flight which I have to get on after a full and early day of work but I still stayed up all night playing it and am kind of debating bringing my Xbone on my trip so I can play it again and again in my hotel room ![]()
You know, half way through the epilogues I finally jumped off the fence: Inquisition is officially my favourite Dragon Age game. I've always been one of those 'well, I can't choose, I love them all!' people, but Trespasser is a much better ending than either DAO or DA2 got.
Absolutely agree. I felt that Trespasser was a microcosm of what DAI should have been. A story-driven narrative that juggles saving the world with heavy politics but still keeps everything grounded and personal with a strong cast.
If the rest of DAI was as good as this DLC, it would probably be my favourite DA. Maybe that's a little unfair because it being the last DLC almost demands quality, but still I can't help but compare because I didn't expect so much quality.
The only thing that I didn't really like about Trespasser was the combat. But I don't like the combat in DAI so it's not the DLC's fault. On PC, the controls feel gimped and lacking to me and the combat itself is spam-heavy and grindy especially at higher levels. I also had the infinite loading screen bug, which was annoying but had an easy fix.
It definitely was a great experience, so much lore to read about and they went a great route for some DA4 speculation. Also, the ending, and finally, some sliders about your companions which I missed from the initial one.
Though I must say that combat was a little tedious for me. I'm just not a fan of endlessly mashing buttons to defeat high-HP enemies (altouhg this got better near the end).
Other than that, great ending. This actually made me really excited for the next installment.
It was great, I had a total blast need DA4 as soon as possible!!!
There were a couple things I thought were underdeveloped, but overall yes, it was one of the best Bioware DLCs and took in a lot of feedback. I hope they make every DLC like this in the future, because a lot of people will be happy, they'll likely make a lot of money, and they'll be praised for having some of the best quality DLC out there.

I'd be interested in your feedback on what you thought was underdeveloped? I have a lot of similar opinions on the base game that I've seen you post, so I'm curious as to your thoughts.

For those of you that completed Trespasser, could you give me a (spoiler-free) idea of how long it is?
I usually complete everything in the game, with the exception of astraria and shard collection.
I'm only a couple hours in but I'm so glad that as the player I'm already getting some "Oh, THAT'S what that meant!" moments even though my Inquisitor is still utterly clueless as to how it ties in with the end. Also, totally didn't talk to Blackwall at all in my one game, didn't finish his loyalty mission so... oops.

I did it in about 5-6 hours playing on casual (I don't like DA:I combat) and without exploring or making any detours aside from talking to my companions. I did read every codex entry I found, but I read pretty fast so I don't know if that had a significant impact though it seemed like there was a lot of lore to find.

Seven hours for me.
I haven't done any of DAI's DLCs yet, but these projected lengths make them sound longer than Mass Effect DLCs. Which is really cool.
I am enjoying myself so far. ![]()
