After Dragon Age: Inquisition sidequests and The Witcher 3 I had doubts whether I still love BW or not, but after Trespasser I can say only one thing- BioWare is love, BioWare is life.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about DA since the second game, but... Trespasser was actually good DLC. Not good, excellent!  Just don't screw this up in DA4.

I've passed on the last two DLC's and thinking about just passing on this one also. But I want to ask, preferably to someone who was a bit skeptical about trespasser; Is it worth playing? I've been hearing good things, but I'm still doubtful.

Yes I agree! I loved it from start to finish! It reminded me of Witch Hunt, with more epicness and tension. My only complaint so far was that it was a bit too short and I wish there were more cinematics of the companions reacting to certain events.

Inqi loses their hand, and cannot play at all after Trespasser's completion. Given that it can only be started after the main epilogue, what purpose do they serve?

 

Are you capable of getting those powers earlier? If so: when?

As you progress through the DLC, the mark gains new abilities, it uses focus, but is separate from from the existing Mark of the rift ability

The new powers are keyed to story moments in the DLC so won't 'powerup' until that point is reached, so they won't be available in the base game

Ahh, thanks for answering that question. Seems a waste to put effort into things that only see an hour's use at most, but that's their decision, I guess.

There is a story reason for this new ability, it will be obvious when you play the DLC. You don't need to spare ability points for this, you will automatically get the ability.

I agree Trespasser is amazing, absolutely loved it!!

 

Great story and companion interaction, and I loved what the ending implies for DA4!
