Its allright, noone is judging you. At least you knew something was up - I absolutely fell for him. Ouch, first bioware romance...kinda hurt but sooo good writing

I finished this about 3hrs ago and I'm still reeling from the feels! Some of my suspicions were confirmed others shot to heck. I do think that he wants to find another way, and my Quzzy is stubborn enough that she won't stop until she convinces him that there is. At least that is what the story I have in my head says. If I can wrap the emotions up enough to get back to writing it.

I'm the same way and I agree that I wouldn't be able to kill/fight him. On second thought, though, I wouldn't be a bystander and allow innocent children die in the name of Elven Glory. I'm not sure I could bring myself to play if that was the case.
Dang though--he thought the people who were born in the unchanging world as tranquil?! I guess from his ancient perspective it would be somewhat understandable, as magic was as natural as breathing to his people.
He's a good guy with a misguided agenda. It definately hurt in the end of Trespasser. He's all "my love" and a sweet kiss, then, "it will kill you," and saunters away. Even then, I still love that hapless elf.

I finished it not too long ago and am feeling the same way- I'm fricking reeling right now. I expected bitter-sweet, but this was much more bitter. It wasn't the same compassionate Solas from the main game, he seemed so callous... When I saw the inquisitors left arm, as she approached the council, I thought it was a glitch. I watched the ending a second time and thought she had some kind of sling on her arm. I didn't realize what actually happened until seeing the epilogue slides.

I'll be honest, I didn't think they would give us an option to redeem him romance or as a friend. I was expecting him to be the villain and that's that, and to reject and end things for good. I like how we can dump him now lol but I'd choose to save him. Even as just a friend too. I redeem everyone. And what I liked most is, he actually wants you to prove him wrong. Also he was still in love with her and never used her like some thought. That's why the romance locks in when he leaves you. He never stopped loving you, but couldn't be near you because he didn't know how you'd accept the truth. Then he feels like an idiot because you would have been fine with it lol

Hey, read something on twitter. Does Solas Tarot card change in trespasser? Havent payed any attention to it >_<

If romanced it's still the same and you can only break off the romance at the end of the game. A nicely added punch in the gut is when selecting party members, he's always there with an x over his card in Trespasser.
 
Not sure about non-romanced though.

Ah, so I didnt miss anything. Thanks for the quick answer. I also noticed, that his name was still in the tactic screen (choosed cole to follow cassandras lead), but of course his name was red... Still, having him around gives me a little hope ._.

oh those feels. literally just finished it. I felt like an ass being like: it's ok solas i totally agree with you. 
i just want to save him, but he can't kill the whole world for the elves. and I'm ultimately always pro-elf in every game.

I finished this last night. Still reeling too.

As much as I know it's wrong, I'm a sucker for Solas and was hoping there was a way for my Quizzy to follow him (like through the Eluvian per Witch Hunt). Who cares about the world? All my Quizzy wants is Solas XD Oh well.

The ending for Romanced Solas was too damn brutal! 10/10 Bioware.
