This feature is definitely patchable. I'm rooting for you all (mostly because I'm jealous as all get out!)

This was taken from Widescreen Gaming Forums where this game has been discussed this post is by Ibrin

UE3 was originally a Vert- engine. But, different developers and the WSGF have been able to get Hor+ out of it (or Anamorphic). While you certainly can't say that a UE3 game is going to be Hor+ like a Source game, it is within the realm of possibility for the developer.

I think it's about time to stop placing all the blame on Epic (though they could update the engine to be native Hor+), and let the devs shoulder more responsibility for not choosing to implement Hor+. Here is a list of UE3 games.

Anamorphic:

Dark Void

Roboblitz

Mirror's Edge (Racker_S Hack)

Last Remnant

Vert-

Borderlands (Console commands fix FOV)

Frontlines: Fuel of War (General Admission patched)

Wheelman (FOV hack made)

Mass Effect

Hor+

Star Trek DAC

X-Men: Wolverine

Rainbow Six: Vegas (after patch 1.05)

Legendary

Batman: AA (issue with "close-ups")

BioShock (Racer_S Hack and then 2K patch)

So it shows it is possible to fix this issue it just needs a small patch from Bioware

I had the same problem trying to use my TripleHead2Go, at 3840x1024, couldn't get to the EULA agreement to start, no biggie. Got past that then the CutScenes would go black on me.

I had the Exact same issue with Dragon Age.

No Patch news. No post from bioware acknowledging the issue.

Hopefully we'll see something soon.

Yeah, I would like to at least hear something on this from Bioware, being I'm putting off actually playing the game until this is fixed.

Bioware was able to patch Dragon Age really quickly and yet it's been weeks and they haven't fixed it yet? I read that a guy contacted Rebellion, the team making Aliens vs. Predator, and they said it's not hard to implement. What gives, Bioware?

there are third party programs to control the aspect ratio that is output to the triple monitor setup.. i am unsure of the names of these but i have heard of people using them for other games such as modern warfare 2.. to allow everything to display properly... the default eyefinity driver (and perhaps others as well) doesnt scale thing properly it often just "stretches" them defeating the whole purpose for a 3 monitor setup...... on a personal note im jealous... i cant afford that type of setup... :(

I bought this and bioshock 2 and they both don't have eyefinity support. They're on my desk teasing me until they get patched. 2k atleast announced a patch, the fact that bioware has been quiet and the only source that a patch is even in the works is from a third party worries me.

Lots of us waiting here for the proper experience Bioware. It's not just Eyefinity cards - it's Tripple Head 2 Go too ... basically any extra-wide resolution is at the wrong x/y ratio. Can you tell us what the currently scheduled date of the relevant patch is?

Maybe they are focusing on the game-breaking issues before concentrating on this.  I certainly hope it will be addressed when the first patch is released.  It would just be nice for them to acknowledge that a patch is being worked on and that this issue is being addressed.  A rough timeframe would be even better.  I'm sure that would calm people down a bit.  I'm eager to play the game (which I've alread purchased), but am trying to hold out until the patch is released. bump. I run a triplehead setup, and the view is totally messed up. Best workaround is running the game in a widescreen window with no frame, but the fov is still unsatisfactory.

Did Eyefinity stealth its way into today's patch? Still waiting for this to be fixed before I buy it but now it'll probably be another month at least for 1.02 if it didn't make 1.01 :(
