Did you ever wonder where it all went wrong? Or just different. Our job in Mass Effect is to make the best choices possible. The fan base always ask what went wrong. Nothing did. This is how it was suppose to end. The Real main point is to find the truth. When did we leave the Mass Effect Universe and entered the head of Shepard, now honestly , this is for the scholars, The Intro to Mass Effect 2 could have been the Starting point to where Reality ended, and we the players and Shepard had to adapt to a new set of rules. Pay attention to the symbolism. Limits , Choices, and Connection. Limits, ME1 guns, over heated and cooled Down, ME2 we had to Adapt to these thermal clips. Now dealing with the vulnerability of having no thermal clips that are supposed to help the gun with cooling down situations, but actually is the opposite, no thermal clip, no "bullet". Us being the players shrug it off, because its just guns being used, nothing more. But what if it is so much more to it? And like the M-920 Cain, The description of the gun changes in Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3. Why did it changed to a one shot weapon? And is now able to defeat a reaper in a conventional way. Hackett numerously said that was not possible. And Anderson a few times. But us the players are so into it, we over look these things. The gun symbolizes Shepard's will to fight. And like in control ending and Synthesis, he/she drops the gun, Shepard has changed, the gun has changed. Something isn't right, right?
